EFT to address damaged pituitary gland results in weight loss
Hi Everyone,
Denis Jevon from the UK uncovers and treats an underlying issue that caused her client to overeat. Denis says, "I hope that this example helps and inspires others to look for underlying factors when dealing with this type of problem."
Hugs, Gary
Hi Gary and my fellow EFTers,
I recently had a lady come to see me with neck, shoulder and upper back problems. She is 40 yrs of age and we can call her K. During the course of the first session K told me that she was considerably overweight due to an uncontrollable appetite. Further questioning revealed that she had an accident at age 16 which caused some trauma to her pituitary gland. So, I put two and two together and suggested that we do some EFT for her appetite problem.
Even though my pituitary gland had some trauma when I was sixteen, I fully and completely accept myself and despite the fact that my pituitary and hypothalamus are causing my appetite to be out of control I love and accept myself anyway … I call upon my mind, body and spirit to do whatever they need to do to make these glands work properly.
Reminder phrases while tapping on the face points and upper body points:
This pituitary/hypothalamus imbalance
This appetite imbalance
I want it to go now
I want to let it go
Letting it go
And the positives
Normal pituitary
Normal hypothalamus
Normal appetite
Happy pituitary
Balanced pituitary
Normal appetite
I only did this one session of EFT for the appetite and weight problem but K continues to see me for bodywork. I am pleased to say (and K is overjoyed) that her appetite is no longer a problem and that in the last four weeks she has lost one and a half stone in weight (that’s 21 pounds or nearly 10 kilos).
I hope that this example helps and inspires others to look for underlying factors when dealing with this type of problem. This case is a good example of the importance of being specific (not just working on this weight problem), and reframing i.e. using appetite and pituitary instead of talking about weight or overweight which have negative connotations and can cause resistance.
Bright blessings, Denis.
