EFT eliminates an intense allergic reaction, making Fern a believer that EFT works on physical issues
Hi Everyone,
Even seasoned EFT'ers find it necessary to continually expand their awareness of what EFT can do. In this article, Fern Israel enhances her abilities with EFT by successfully applying it to her severe allergic reaction.
Hugs, Gary
Background: I am a LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) and have helped many individuals with the applications of energy psychology. I have also been trained and have found much value in EMDR. I witnessed the changes clients have made from trauma, depression, anxiety, complicated grieving etc., returning to stress-free living and balance.
I had not previously used EFT with physical symptoms; however, luckily I have been reading this valuable website that chronicles stories of reducing physical problems with EFT.
So last week, I had my very first allergic reaction to some vitamins that I took. Symptoms included: pervasive itching, burning, skin reddening and a rapidly beating heart. On a scale of 0 – 10, my intensity level was a 10+. I remembered EFT was reported as being effective for many individuals with physical symptoms.
I immediately started tapping and within 5 minutes all itching and reactions ceased. According to my memory of the event, I tapped using the following setup:
- Even though I am anxious about this allergic reaction is getting worse, I'm o.k., it's o.k. and all is well.
- Even though my face looks burnt and I am reacting to something, I accept myself completely and I am confident it is passing quickly.
- Even though my body is reacting to something and I don't like it, I accept myself completely, and I know that my body is resilient.
- Even though I am itchy and I can't stand it, I accept myself and my situation completely.
- Even though I am still feeling itchy, I choose to relax and breathe.
My intensity level went from 10 to 0 out of 10. My redness completely went away and the allergic reaction was no more experienced. AMAZING - THANK YOU
Fern Ross Israel, LMHC
