EFT relieves a "burning mouth" reaction to pineapple
Hi Everyone,
Here's an interesting EFT case by Kathryn Karjala that produced instant relief for an irritating food sensitivity.
Hugs, Gary
Hi Gary,
Here's another little "instant miracle." How often do we say "well, that's just the way it is" or "that's just the way I am", and end up limiting life's possibilities? And how many of us put up every day with unpleasant reactions to foods that should be nourishing to us?
I make a fruit and veggie smoothie for breakfast every day. The mix changes regularly depending on what we have on hand. One morning recently my partner said to me, "What did you put in the smoothie to make it so hot? My mouth is burning.” Well, I was happily drinking my half of the exact same drink, and it tasted fine!
We eventually tracked it down to raw pineapple. I left it out, and he didn't complain. I put it back in, and he noticed right away. He'd eaten pineapple in the past with no problem, but now it seemed he couldn't tolerate it any more.
So at that point I suggested that we do some EFT on it. He agreed, but I could tell he was skeptical and reluctant. After all, this was real! He would mumble the phrases half-heartedly, rolling his eyes, sort of flapping his hands in the general area of the tapping points.
He had certainly eaten pineapple happily in the past, so I didn't think there was a big underlying emotional component, and I went immediately for mechanical EFT. We did one round with a setup of Even though I have this burning mouth... On the points we tapped, this pain in my mouth … this burning in my mouth … this tingling from eating pineapple … this irritation.
At the end of that round I asked him to take a sip of his drink. He then got a surprised look on his face and said the sensation was practically gone. We did another round with Even though I still have some of this burning in my mouth… and any remaining burning … any remaining problem with pineapple … any remaining need for pain in my mouth.
That's all it took! He happily drained his glass. The next day I used pineapple in the drink again. No problem and none since. But the best part for me was coming into the kitchen a few days later and seeing him snacking on a big wedge of pineapple, leaning over the sink to catch the drips off his chin!
