Successful EFT for a wine allergy - a little different approach

For years, Frances Songhurst (from the UK) had a bad reaction to even a small amount of wine. But with this "on the spot" EFT approach, she was able to overcome it.

Hi Gary,
While chatting with a colleague the other day, I remembered how I cleared a wine allergy of mine, in less than 30 seconds! I feel encouraged to share the story as I applied EFT in a slightly different way.
Over a year ago I was at an informal meeting with other volunteers of an organization I was involved with. We were all sat at a large table, with nibbles to eat and several bottles of wine that were being passed around.
Now, I had been unable to drink any wine for some time - even half a glass made me very sick the next day, and I would have a violent headache. I would feel quite ill for most of the morning. I guess I had reacted to wine in this way for a few years, and gradually it had become worse, so now I would not touch it at all.
However, I wanted to socialize and for some reason, I really wanted a glass of red wine! It was being poured, and passed around the table and I knew the bottle would be passed to me in a matter of seconds, so I put my hands under the table and just pressed on my karate chop point, whilst I thought of these phrases -
Even though I am allergic to wine, it makes me really sick, and gives me a headache…
Even though I get ill with the smallest amount, I want to join in with the others, I choose not to be ill when I drink this lovely red wine.
Even though my body reacts in a really bad way when I drink wine, I love and accept my body's reaction and choose to be able to drink red wine with no bad reaction at all. Red wine is good for me!
By this time the bottle was in front of me and to my husband’s amazement, I poured myself a half glass (he knew I hadn't drunk any wine for some time).
I smelled the wine and took a small sip, enjoying the taste, and took about a half hour to drink it, as I was a little worried as it might affect me in the morning. Looking back, I realize I should have tapped for the fear of having a reaction, but I didn't think of it then and proceeded to drink another glass later on. By that time I was fully confident I would not be ill. I had also told my husband not to worry, because I had tapped on myself for it!
Well, by morning, I was absolutely fine, and have been ever since. I drink the odd glass of red wine with no after effects at all - in moderation, of course!
