Would you like a free EFT session for a Frozen Shoulder and do you live within an hour's drive of Sebastopol, CA? We are conducting an EFT research project and need 6 people with limited shoulder movement problems (Frozen Shoulder). It is the inability to move your shoulder freely that is important here and NOT that it may involve pain. To qualify you must commit to (1) have your shoulder movement evaluated between February 18-22, (2) receive an EFT session by Gary Craig on March 17 and (3) be re-evaluated on April 14-18. Everything will be done in Sebastopol, CA and you must commit to drive there all 3 times. For details, please call Michaela McGivern at 707-217-7732. No cost involved.
Tappa-Dappa-Do: In our last newsletter I asked you to participate in a survey that would help us name the educational part of our website. Your thoughts were VERY helpful. Thanks. In reading your responses, I couldn't help but giggle about one tongue-in-cheek suggestion that was taken from The Flintstones: Tappa-Dappa-Do.

Featured Article #2: If your client believes that the world is run by a red elephant....: Alina Frank did not believe that "past life experiences" were useful in current therapy. However, experiences with recent clients suggested otherwise. She concludes her article with, "The moral here is to use what shows up and don't allow your own disbelief to get in the way of your clients' healing. If your client believes that the world is run by a red elephant and that elephant is causing them insomnia then use it in your wording. The most important thing to remember at all times is to became a clear channel and recognize that the work is coming through you and not by you." Email Alina and Visit her website

Tips from the EFT Website
- An asthma success story from an EFT newcomer: Asthma sufferers will be pleased to read this personal account by Sondra Rose (from Scotland) wherein she discusses using EFT for her asthma. In her early stages of using EFT she says, "With another hour of focused tapping at home that evening, I experienced clear breathing without my inhaler and the first really good night's sleep in a long time."
- Gentle EFT and "tapping in the positive" give hope to a heart patient: You will enjoy Betty Moore-Hafter's gentle session with her client. Notice how she introduces the phrase, "...and it's time for healing now."
- Using EFT for emotional causes of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS): There are several quality EFT principles involved in this article by Sarah Marshall of the UK. Notice how she addresses emotional issues in a general (global) manner until the client comes up with a SPECIFIC EVENT (being in the womb when her mother's water breaks). Eventually, Sarah has her client "become her mother" and tap for SPECIFIC EVENTS in this mode. As you will see, good results were obtained. There is more to do in this case as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome usually has many conflicting emotions at its core. It is, however, a first class start.
- Using EFT for "Everything is my fault!": An all too common belief (often hidden) is that we are guilty and everything is our fault. This is a fiction, of course, because everything isn't anyone's fault. Despite the logical fallacy involved, many people experience an emotional response in this area that limits them throughout their lives. My thanks to Sarah Marshall of the UK for addressing this issue. Her article will be of particular interest those who study the Law of Attraction.
- Using EFT for spiritual issues: Big gratitude to Alina Frank for showing us how to use EFT to resolve some of our spiritual issues. Among other insights she says, "When I suddenly get a string of clients that are coming to see me about a bad marriage I invariably find that I'm currently having issues with my spouse. When the wave of clients comes through with self-image issues it's usually when something in my own life has caused me to not accept myself as much as I can. Over and over again I am shown the areas where I myself need to heal."
- EFT clears poison oak – gone without a trace in 90 minutes: This article by Nancy Morris will likely save countless people many hours of pain and discomfort. This EFT result is not confined to just poison oak. It also applies to a long list of pains that stump the medical profession.
- Yet another impressive use of Surrogate EFT--this time an audience sends the client out of the room and taps for her: Study this article Dr. Kiya Immergluck and use its principles to relieve a wide variety of human issues. The client in this case says, "...two things that really stand out for me is the fact that the person being tapped for does not need to even be thinking about it (I was very engaged in a conversation with two other people in another room) and that when I returned to the room I was sort of bothered by what I felt were insignificant questions and was wanting to get to the main issue! When I realized that it was "the issue" and that I had actually said it was a "10", it was hard to even believe ... amazing!"
- A seven year old learns EFT and calms his own ADHD: Here's a fascinating story by Helen Bressler that should get the attention of parents, teachers and anyone else involved with ADHD (a form of hyperactivity).
- EFT newbie reports many successes ... from betrayal to a bee sting: Mandy Momberg from South Africa shares her enthusiasm for EFT. She says,"Needless to say - I am SOLD on EFT! Over the last two months (because that is all it has been) I've used EFT (or more accurately 'EFT has used me') on so many different things; physical pain, psychological and emotional traumas (in dogs, cats and humans) from the ages of three to eighty-three, in one-on-one sessions, over the phone and surrogately (with photos of animals) AND IT HAS WORKED EVERY TIME!!"
