Today's Helpful Hint: Newcomers often ask the question, "What words do I use in the EFT Setup phrase for_______". Further, this question is usually asked as though there are some perfect words that must be spoken if results are to be achieved. This is a mistake ... a limitation ... because it ignores their ability to create these phrases on their own. THERE ARE NO MAGIC PHRASES. One simply verbalizes the problem by inserting it into the phrase "Even though I have this........." With practice and a little experience you can be even more creative. However, don't look for ready-made language. You can study other people's wording for ideas, of course, but ultimately you want to develop your own skill. This is very simple to do. Just say what comes to mind and let go of this limit known as.... "I gotta have the perfect words."

Cool stuff from the Internet: Where's the birthplace of Kool-Aid? Where's the "Ax Murder House?" And what's so mysterious about the Mystery Spot, anyway? Roadside America is a fun resource for the kooky, nichey, and downright bizarre landmarks that help make this huge country so unique. Use this site to plan your next roadtrip and getting from here to there will be more interesting than your average game of "I Spy."

Tips from the EFT Website
- EFT newcomer successfully uses EFT for her abused dog: Here's an interesting "animal EFT" case from Mandy Momberg of South Africa. Note how well she communicates with her dog. Although this may seem unusual to some readers, I have many reports of people being able to "speak" with their pets in this way.
- Success in neutralizing unwanted memories without the client disclosing the content: Tim Watts works successfully with his highly anxious client even though she does not want to disclose the details of certain memories. In psycho-speak this is known as "working without content" and is a desirable feature of EFT. Tim says, "We covered a lot of ground in this first session, despite her not wanting to tell me the details of what had happened in the two emotionally intense memories - we still got relief, even when asked to try and get those memories back again."
- Back pain is gone after doing EFT for entrepreneurial worries: Here is a classic example from Colleen Flanagan of how emotional issues show up physically. People spend loads of money every year on meds for back pain and are unaware that a skillful application of EFT can often do the job beautifully. Here is how Colleen describes the situation with her client BEFORE using EFT, "As we discussed our entrepreneurial challenges over lunch, Bernadette's back pain worsened. After our meal, she tried to rise from my dining room chair but the excruciating pain caused her to sit back down. She said she'd never had lower back pain this severe and would have to wait for the holiday weekend to end before she could visit her chiropractor."
- EFT aids an "energy sensitive" client: Janine Archer's client is ultra sensitive to the energy flows both inside and outside of her body and can literally feel the "short circuit" or zzzt that I describe in The EFT Manual.
- Using EFT for unnecessary guilt - Did EFT get someone's husband to cook dinner?: Janine Archer's client carried around guilt that was both unnecessary and limiting. Read the interesting result that occurred by addressing it with EFT.
- 30 years of insomnia cleared in one EFT session: Tim Watts (from England) shows us how he got to the root cause of his client's long term insomnia. In his article he says, "During the consultation I asked her the standard question used in EFT to identify root causes to the problem - 'If there was one experience or person that, if you lived your life over, you would leave out, who, or what would that be?'"
- Anja shares her self-healing process – she was born despite her mother having attempted an abortion: This intriguing story by Anja Hertkorn (from Belgium) will be of great interest to those who suffer the effects of being an unwanted child. Note how she "becomes her own client" and gives her imagination free rein.
- Mentally chasing the pain with EFT: Here is an important article by Detlev Tesch from Germany. He gives us yet more evidence (together with some useful how-to's) of the usefulness of mental or imaginary tapping. This EFT feature has been of substantial value for many people.
- 8 quick tips to increase your success and profit by writing for email newsletters: Here are some useful ideas for expanding your business from Carol Solomon.
