Featured Article #1: Chocolate cravings have their root in childhood poverty: A high percentage of people who use EFT for immediate cravings (e.g. chocolate, cigarettes, etc.) achieve success. Those that don't usually have an emotional issue attached to the craving that needs to be addressed before the cravings can be diminished. Sergio Lizarraga from Mexico illustrates this nicely with his brief article. Email Sergio
Featured Article #2: Tapping on a single point brought fear and pain to a halt: While it is usually advisable to tap on several of the EFT points for a given issue, there are times when only one point will do the job. Kiran Zehra Haider from Pakistan gives two examples of this. Email Kiran
Featured Article #3: Useful thoughts on anger by Stewart Robertson: As Stewart Robertson from Scotland says in his article, "...anger is one of the most debilitating emotions we can experience as human beings. It drains us of our energy, emotional freedom, and personal power." Read on as he gives us four helpful thoughts (reframes) on this vital topic. Email Stewart and Visit his website
Featured Article #4: EFT eliminates unnecessary grief emotions and softens the grieving process - includes 2 month follow up: Grief therapist Joanne Harvey shows how she used EFT to assist her grieving client. She says, "EFT eliminated guilt, an unnecessary emotion from Sara's grief. It allowed her to experience her grief as a process of adjustment rather than something that has to be suffered through." Tips from the EFT Website
- EFT for overeating and panic attacks – and interesting similarities between the two issues: If you read this insightful article by Dr. Carol Solomon you will gain an appreciation for how a core issue can affect us in more ways than one.
- EFT to address damaged pituitary gland results in slimming down: Denis Jevon from the UK uncovers and treats an underlying issue that caused her client to overeat. Denis says, "I hope that this example helps and inspires others to look for underlying factors when dealing with this type of problem."
- Three EFT sessions eliminate pain from degenerative disc disease - underlying emotional issues involved: Ray Perkel from South Africa does a first class job of eliminating his client's back pain even though other methods had failed. He says, "This case seems to illustrate clearly how stressful and suppressed emotional memories can store themselves in the body and eventually present as pain or disease, even decades later. EFT offers a remarkably direct and powerful way of healing these kinds of conditions."
- EFT eases nausea – tapping without actually tapping: Annie Siegel received this letter from her client, Elizabeth, who had her first successful experience with "imagining the tapping." This process has wide ranging benefits and is worth a try by everyone.
- The Skeptic & Claustrophobia (or how I was treated like a “Witch Doctor” & EFT still worked!): Note how Dr. Kiya Immergluck tests her results as she uses EFT to rid her skeptical client of his claustrophobia.
- Tapping on specific events without knowing what they are: Henrik Friman from Sweden offers this idea for addressing specific events without actually identifying them. While this concept may prove helpful to newbies, I prefer doing it the "old fashioned way" by digging around until I find an appropriate event. Also, if you are having trouble locating a relevant specific event, you can dig around in the past and make one up. This has proven useful on many occasions.
- Hearing the energy shift while doing EFT: Important healings often occur with EFT while we are (seemingly) working on other issues. In this brief article by Carole Gledhill of the UK, she could actually hear the shift occurring. Interesting feature. Be on the lookout for it.
- Very basic EFT alleviates back pain that had been present for 5 years – a 2 month follow-up indicates no return of the pain: Here's another pain case where the EFT results are, once again, remarkable. Note how the author, Sylvia Ross, touches a pain spot before using EFT on it. This helps the client "tune into" the specific pain.
- When clients get overwhelmed or frustrated with EFT: Gene Monterastelli discusses common misunderstandings clients have about EFT.
