Thought for the Day: "A man is rich in proportion to the number of things he can let alone." Henry David Thoreau

Today's EFT Quote: "EFT has changed my life as I no longer have the fear of an impending panic attack. I came across your 'emofree' web site when browsing the net looking for help for panic attacks. It was one of the luckiest days of my life, I have had nearly a year free of them, I can't begin to tell you how wonderful that feels. I purchased your DVDs (what a bargain purchase) and armed with those and a downloaded instruction manual I haven't looked back." Marley Allin

Featured Article #1: How to find the emotion that may be causing the pain:  Seasoned EFT'ers frequently find that emotions and physical ailments are linked. They may debate, however, over the best ways to find the emotions that may reside behind the pains. Chip Engelmann gives his views on this topic and says, "The truth is, people don't really come to me for help with a past trauma. They don't think about that trauma. That trauma is packed away tightly in their back closet so they can function today. Clients come to me with problems and pains that have manifested in their lives today. And as we open the closet to make a repair, the trauma falls out, ready to finally be resolved."Email Chip and Visit his website

Featured Article #2: Finding the emotion behind the severe skin condition:  Read how Marian Ryan from the UK expertly (and persistently) searches for the emotion behind a skin condition so severe that... "She had tried numerous creams prescribed by her GP, she was referred to a dermatologist who prescribed yet more creams, and she had tried various forms of holistic treatment - all to no avail. Out of desperation, and in her words "a last ditched attempt" she resorted to EFT. Her hands were painful cracked, raw, dry, and very deep pink in appearance." Email Marian

Featured Article #3: How Mary's self sabotage kept her from slimming down:  Here is a classic example by Carol Solomon of using EFT for the emotional issues that keep pounds on so many bodies. Even though you may not have a mother like Mary's, you are still likely to find useful parallels in this well presented article. Explore Carol's Getting Slender With EFT Ebook and Visit her blog

Featured Article #4: Visualizing and tapping on limiting beliefs:  Everyone has limiting beliefs and they can be very expensive. Kiran Zehra Haider gives us some thoughts on using EFT to dissolve them. Email Kiran

Tips from the EFT Website

  • Quick stomach pain relief for a surprised client: Christine Danyi helps her client with a "stomach clutching" abdominal pain. Note how, in this case, she didn't need to look for emotional causes. Straight EFT did the job nicely.
  • Painful mastitis clears after EFT: Note how Alina Frank zeroes in on "secondary gains" or psychological reversals (PRs) to finally achieve relief for her client. After finally collapsing a key emotional issue she says, "The effect was immediate and the mastitis symptoms that would normally take days of antibiotics and bed rest to collapse, disappeared within an hour-long EFT session."
  • Clearing an old issue helps jazz singer improvise: Georgia Froehling from Germany uses EFT to create new freedom with her singing. The principles she uses are valid for any type of performance improvement, including sports, business and the bedroom.
  • Surrogate tapping stops serious nose bleed: Judith Maag from the UK gives us another item for our long list of "Try EFT on Everything" successes. This time, the rapid relief was achieved by surrogate tapping (without the the client knowing about it).
  • EFT prevents bruising and pain after a fall: JoAnn SkyWatcher was dancing one night when she took an unexpected fall and severely injured her hip. Read on to find out how she relieved the problem.
  • Finding the REAL issues behind two (presumed) phobias: In my experience, when EFT doesn't appear to work it is almost always because we haven't found the REAL issue yet. This article by Chip Engelmann helps us all dig deeper under these circumstances and discover the true core issues. Spend some time with it. It contains many helpful ideas.
  • Clever use of EFT clears issues for baby, mother and grandmother - follow-up included: Deborah Miller from Mexico was asked to use EFT for a baby's injured hip. In the process, she noticed family patterns regarding this injury and proceeded to spread EFT's power to the mother and grandmother. She says, "It still amazes me how much children take on their parent's and grandparent's issues. In this case, a fall became an opportunity to clear the whole family of issues around not being able to receive, move forward or enjoy the process of life. Anytime you are working with yourself or your child, check to see if there is a family pattern that can also be released."
  • After 15 years of therapy, including shock therapy, EFT helps release depression: Watch how Jane Nash guides her depressed client towards emotional freedom. After applying EFT she says, "Each time I asked him to return to any of the traumatic memories, he just kept repeating that he couldn't find it anymore He said, "I know it happened but I can't see it - I can't find it.""
  • Two rounds of EFT take care of a cat allergy: Laetitia Hannan from the UK shares this brief allergy relief episode and includes this follow-up: "....four weeks later he has had absolutely no allergic reaction to the kitten. This is a man who has been plagued with allergies most of his life. In the past, when in a house where the owners were not fastidious at keeping cat hair to a minimum, he's been forced to leave within half an hour, with streaming eyes and nose and itchy skin."

New EFT Introduction Video

The EFT Course includes many live examples of EFT at work. One of those involves Connie who has chronic back pain. The first thing we need to deal with, however, is her anxiety for being in front of the audience. This becomes a "two for one" demonstration. First, you will watch her posture shift into relaxation as we tap for her anxiety. It takes a few rounds but she is soon ready to proceed. Using EFT for her back pain also took some persistence and you will watch the gentle manner in which we test the result. As she looks for the pain she says, "Well, I can't seem to find it."More Details
