Today's EFT Quote: "I am a chiropractor that was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and
multiple chemical sensitivities and was unable to work. I tried every treatment type out there. EFT was the only thing that helped me. EFT has given me my life back. Now that I am working again, I specialize in treating patients with chronic illness and primarily use EFT. The results I've seen are amazing." Dr. Patrick Greely

Featured Article #1: Working with trauma - the connection between EFT and the Amygdula: Nikki Ball from the UK gives her view regarding how the brain responds to EFT. She says, "I have found that when using EFT with trauma issues it is important to tap on any particular sensory memories such as smells, sounds, tastes, physical sensations and of course images and visual memories." Email Nikki
Featured Article #2: EFT for anger underlying ALS: ALS (aka Lou Gehrig's Disease) is a crippling ailment for which the medical folks have yet to provide a drug or chemical cure. By contrast, EFT aims at emotional issues as a likely cause and that was the approach Sherri Lund provided for her client. Note the physical improvements as well as the cheerier outlook that evolved. Email Sherri and Visit her website
Featured Article #3: EFT for the Inner Child: This article by Karl Dawson of the UK will be most appreciated by sophisticated users of EFT who are also familiar with Inner Child work. Well done! Many useful ideas here. Karl Dawson holds regular EFT practitioner trainings and specialty courses covering the EFT Matrix re-Imprinting technique. He will be presenting in Denver with Dr Carol Look. Please email Karl or Visit his website
Featured Article #4: Can EFT tele-classes cause problems for some participants?: Rue Hass begins her article with...."What if you are taking a teleclass, and something that the volunteer tapper is working on triggers an unconscious memory for you. You find yourself lost in a powerful emotional response that scares you - you feel out of control. What do you do?" This is a useful point and I include it here for your consideration. Please note that I have never seen any direct evidence that tapping causes abreactions like this. Rather, it appears that people's abreactions come from within themselves during a therapeutic setting. As far as I can tell, it is the therapeutic setting that triggers things, not the tapping. Join Rue at the Vibrational Approach to Healing Pain and Illness in Denver, with Carol Look, June 12-14. Visit Rue's website for details.
Tips from the EFT Website
- Sales performance: Deborah Mitnick worked with her son Jonathan (I've met him--delightful young man) on sales reluctance and his results increased several hundred percent. Not everyone who "hates to sell" will have an improvement this dramatic, of course, but this true story gives us unmistakable insight into our unused potential.
- Cholesterol and EFT: Here is yet another report of impressive physical results that are attributed to tapping. A thank you to Buzz Johnson for providing us with "before and after" statistics regarding tapping and his cholesterol/triglyceride levels.
- Jet lag--tuning your time field: Willem Lammers, one of our esteemed colleagues from Switzerland, offers insights on jet lag--a common problem for world travelers. Please note that he uses the term "MPT's" in his message. It stands for Meridian-based PsychoTherapies and is his shorthand label for the various techniques in this field.
- Fasting?? Try it on everything: I am forever getting back channel queries that ask, "Will EFT work on ________?" In response I usually point to one of the principles that is sprinkled throughout the EFT Course, namely, "Try it on everything." I don't know why people bother to ask me this question when it takes far less time to actually try it than it does to write me a letter and wait for an answer. Deborah Mitnick tries it on everything and usually gets results (as do others). Recently she tried it on her husband's difficulty with fasting. She tells the story below.
- A builder with psoriasis and "little things": Silvia Hartmann-Kent sent me these interesting accomplishments from the United Kingdom. The psoriasis healing, to me, is yet another piece of endless evidence of the link between our emotions and our physical ailments. Also, the accomplishments that Silvia calls "little things" may seem small--but I beg to differ. They point to greater clarity in thinking and this has major, major, major potential for inventors, corporate think tanks and students--just to name a few.
- Snoring, Love Pain and Stuttering: "Harriet" had a refreshing revelation after bumping into a few walls with EFT. In her words..."Then I got the brilliant idea to get myself out of the way by using loving intention rather than desperation for her to stop snoring! How many times have you said that, Gary!" Revelations like this generally come as a result of persistence and determination. Listen in as she shares a few of her successes.
- Love, diligence and an eating disorder: Sonia Novinsky provides impressive examples for us in (1) persistence, (2) being a detective to find core issues and (3) addressing numerous aspects and tail enders. As you can tell from her message, English is not her first language. Usually I "clean up" messages like this so they can be more easily read by this English speaking audience.
- Burns, bee stings and the like: Jessica Gillies (from Australia) spilled hot coffee on herself and relieved the pain in short order. How many times do we do this kind of thing and don't think to tap? Good reminder here.
- Core issues, bedroom pleasure and The Sins of Eve.: Sandy Miniere gives us the details of her successful work with a client's deeply rooted sexual intimacy problem. The central part of Sandy's work involved discovering a core religious issue which, once discovered, allowed clearing to occur quite easily. This detective work by Sandy is part of the "art of delivery" that separates the masters of these procedures from the rest. We can do excellent work by merely applying the mechanics of EFT. But if we want to make the process sing--I mean really sing--we need to follow Sandy's lead and uncover core issues.
