Featured Article #1: An EFT Procrastination case:  Procrastination is a broad topic and one that almost everyone faces from time to time. Read how JoAnn SkyWatcher digs underneath her client's procrastination to discover a companion "resistance to authority" issue and then uses an "argumentative approach" with EFT. Email JoAnn and Visit her website

Featured Article #2: Taking the edge off intense emotions--Putting them in a box and tapping on them:  With EFT, we can often deal with very intense emotions much more gently than with other techniques. In our EFT DVDs, for example, I display many ways to "take the edge off" before delving into the raw centerpiece of the matter. Gillian Wightman from Scotland describes yet another method in her well written article. Email Gillian and Visit her website

Featured Article #3: Let it be easy:  Kiran Zehra Haider shows us how to use EFT to lighten up. Very useful. If everyone did this, I suspect this would be a much 'easier' world. Email Kiran

Tips from the EFT Website

  • EFT helps trumpeter blow his own horn: Accomplished athletes, artists, dancers, musicians, actors and other performers will often tell you that they have much more potential than they are using. The barriers to enhanced performance, they say, are "in my head." Dr. Larry Stoler works with a trumpeter who, in his own words, makes such a dramatic improvement that he can now "sing through his instrument." You may find this story particularly useful to print out and show to doubting clients who would like to perform at better levels.
  • Anger case--the urge to explode: Lori Lorenz gives us an in depth look at an extreme anger case wherein her client was given to "explosions." During stressful situations he was afraid he would "rip his shirt or clothing off in a rage or start throwing things and scream uncontrollably." This message is particularly valuable because Lori displays her wording and other details of the process. You will also note her advanced use of creative Setup phrasing.
  • The Freedom to Sing: Using EFT to enhance performance often provides dramatic benefits in that it takes people to new levels in their acting, sports, music, writing, speaking and--in the current case--singing. Paul Cutright describes below his use of EFT for his wife's emotional freedom to publicly sing a sexy, sultry, Madonna type song. As you will see, there were many aspects underlying her former inhibition, each of which Paul singles out and addresses independently.
  • Henry's phrase points to core issues: This article provides yet more evidence that the real skill in delivering EFT in difficult situations involves persisting until we find the core issue(s). Some newcomers to this fascinating process observe some "one minute wonders" and erroneously assume that EFT works this way all the time. Please study this case submitted by Silvia Hartmann-Kent from the UK, and follow along as she patiently and expertly works with "Henry" until the true contributor to his trembling issue is uncovered.
  • A how-to guide for using EFT with couples: David Lake, MD gives us a useful how-to guide for using EFT with couples. Dave is an expert at this and many of you will find his procedures and languaging very helpful in practice.
  • His asthma breathing got easier while they learned how to tap: There are many things to look for in this detailed message by Deborah Mitnick, besides the end result. She offers several useful pointers on making EFT presentations, she emphasizes the importance of looking for underlying aspects, and she demonstrates the link between physical and emotional issues.
  • Two allergic reaction cases: Over and over again we see EFT giving relief to physical symptoms. This includes allergic reactions, headaches, nausea, asthma, sinus problems, back and joint problems, fibromyalgia, rashes, TMJ, degenerative disease symptoms, sports injuries, lactose intolerance and on...and on...and on...and on..... There is scarcely a physical symptom that isn't a candidate for EFT.
  • "Bedside EFT" for patient relief in a hospital setting: "Bedside EFT" is a new term introduced by Holly Holmes-Meredith. It comes from her many rewarding experiences with the application of EFT to hospital patients. As she states in the last sentence of her message to us..."The personal rewards of assisting someone in a crisis are sweet and profound."
  • Curing insomnia after treating a case of "Love Pain.": Romantic breakups often result in intense forms of grief and obsessions known as "Love Pain." People with Love Pain usually feel that they will "never get over it" and that they simply "can't live without him/her." It is perceived as a BIG loss and often has many aspects/roots. However, as Dr. Carol Look displays in her article, diligent work with Love Pain and its numerous aspects can bring many rewards--some of them unexpected.

Important note: While EFT has produced remarkable clinical results, it must still be considered to be in the experimental stage and thus practitioners and the public must take complete responsibility for their use of it. Further, Gary Craig is not a licensed health professional and offers EFT as an ordained minister and as a personal performance coach. Please consult qualified health practitioners regarding your use of EFT.
