Thought for the Day: "The whole world steps aside for the man who knows where he is going." Anon.
Today's EFT Quote: "I'm stunned by the power of EFT and I just want to say if you're struggling, persevere, follow your intuition, be creative, go with what feels right, what works for you. I love the flexibility of EFT, the fact you can't get it wrong, that it's just about keeping going, chipping away, trusting in this extraordinary tool." Christine Compton

Launching our new Practitioner Listings: As previously announced, we are starting anew with the EFT Practitioner listings on our website. All past listings have been removed and the door is now open for practitioners who meet our more rigorous requirements to re-list their practices. Please note that the referral fees have been temporarily waived and that both Certified and non-Certified practitioners are able to list. We expect this dual-listing to exist for about a year. After that, we will list only Certified practitioners. Review requirements and re-list your practice.
Those wishing to seek the help of an EFT Practitioner can view the listings here. Note that there are very few listings now but over the next few weeks many more should appear.

Tips from the EFT Website
- Dialogues with Smokers--Parts I & II: Loretta Sparks, an addiction specialist with over 20 years experience, provides us with these useful experiences. As she describes, "...I worked with a number of smokers, more or less according to the same format. Since it looks about 90% successful, it's time to share it. There are mainly two formats, one focused on the smoking in the here-and-now and one focused on the "Inner Child". "
- A textbook depression case--a "one minute wonder" complete with belief changes: This creative use of EFT by Mair Llewellyn deserves our attention. It is one of our "one minute wonders" complete with belief changes. According to Mair, "On reflection it seemed to me that EFT had given this young man access to his own needed insights and the healing process happened spontaneously... None of this was done as conventional EFT is done yet it worked absolutely brilliantly. What a wonderful, wonderful way to end a grey life! "
- Zach's fear of dogs: Maggie Adkins shares this story about using EFT with children. Zach was a 5 year old boy who was so afraid of dogs that he would follow his instinct to run away without first checking for traffic. Needless to say, his mother was a bit worried, so Maggie added an element of the procedure for her as well.
- Successful 21 month follow up on a 20 year chewing tobacco addiction: Dr. Carol Look reports on the successful elimination of "Fred's" long term addiction for chewing tobacco. Please pay particular attention to her methods and persistence for getting at the numerous "emotional drivers" that underlie the addiction. She takes aim at Fred's favorite times to chew and, from there, delves into many other aspects. This message is rich with technique and languaging. It should give you many ideas.
- EFT on personal depression--"I was angry at myself": Catherine O'Driscoll is a proficient user of EFT in Scotland (a non-therapist) and is particularly fond of using it on pets. I've had many correspondences with her over the past two years and find her quite creative. She recently applied EFT to herself while in a depressive state and enjoyed immediate shifts in both her demeanor and her personal insights. I think we all have had our moments like this and Catherine, in her honest message below, holds up a constructive mirror for us to look at.
- Depression and confusion about God: Cynthia Kilchenstein briefly describes two cases regarding depression (including one with "miraculous" cancer healings) and asks about the confusion surrounding God and religious issues. My comments are interspersed within her message.
- First day of school apprehension, separation anxiety and an asthma attack: Dr. Mankinen offers these encouraging examples of applying EFT for children. In two of the three cases, he uses a creative surrogate technique that could be used in many cases. It seems that children are more open to accepting surrogate work, and maybe that's because their imaginations are still so powerful. However, surrogate EFT continues to surprise us with the consistency of its results.
- Dr. Carol Look's series on weight loss: Dr. Carol Look provides us with a series regarding the use of EFT for weight loss. The subsequent installments are appended below. Notice the various well-worded Set Up statements and her pivotal, core-issue question, "What happened the last time you were at your goal weight?"
