Thought for the Day: "This manuscript of yours that has just come back from another editor is a precious package. Don't consider it rejected. Consider that you've addressed it 'to the editor who can appreciate my work' and it has simply come back stamped 'not at this address'" Barbara Kingsolver, Best-selling author of The Poisonwood Bible
Today's EFT Quote: "I have been practicing EFT on all my friends and clients. This is a truly amazing technique." Robert Bike, LMT

Featured Article #1: Some thoughts about doing EFT with multilingual clients: German born Carna Zacharias-Miller gives us a fascinating trip through EFT's use with different languages. Well worth reading if you, or your clients, are multilingual. Visit Carna's website
Featured Article #2: EFT for night time trips to the bathroom--including follow-up: Would you like to get a full night's sleep without being interrupted by a bathroom break? Then try this EFT approach suggested by Philippa Crawford. It may not work for all bladders and it may not be healthy for everyone but, apparently, it has given her solid benefits. She concludes her story with this follow-up, "It's been many months now and, except for times when I drink excess liquids before bed, I still am not needing to pee at night." Email Philippa
Featured Article #3: Surrogate tapping for terrorists: Will you join Amy Babcock in using her Surrogate EFT method to help resolve the personal issues that may well be motivating terrorists? You will not know what impact this may have on the terrorist issue but YOU will likely feel better if you do it. Email Amy

- An expert discusses EFT and sudden trauma.: Dr. Larry Stoler is a seasoned expert with these tapping procedures, having been at the forefront of this movement for many years. He shares his expertise with two cases where EFT is used for suddenly inflicted trauma. After that, he makes some helpful observations.
- A subtle, complete and rapid cessation of the fear of being alone: What more powerful result could you ask for than to have a substantial problem vanish so completely that you forgot you even had it? Fortunately, with EFT, this subtle (but powerful) result happens with some frequency and can usually lead to the APEX problem. A thank you to Margaret Haines, a seasoned therapist, for her personal example of this "forgot I even had the problem" result.
- Food repulsion, email phobia, golf & rejection: Michelle LaPrise offers some unique uses for EFT, including a potential flip side of using EFT for addictive cravings. Instead of relieving urges for things we consume, we now find evidence that we can eliminate the repulsion (or phobic response?) to certain foods we have been avoiding. How many children, for example, develop a repulsion for vegetables, seeds, grains and a long list of other healthy foods? What does that do for long term health?
- The layers of trauma: In emotional healing, things aren't always as they seem. Deborah Mitnick guides us through a session she had a year ago with "Meredith" who had intense reactions over witnessing a baby's accidental death. Somehow, Meredith felt responsible for this death even though she had no part in it whatsoever. It was an irrational response, of course, and even Meredith recognized it. Fortunately, Deborah was able to find the core issue and provide lasting relief for Meredith.
- A height phobia with traumatic roots: Some phobias are linked to past traumatic events. When this is the case, phobia relief is not likely to occur until the individual traumas (aspects) have been neutralized. Loretta Sparks, a seasoned pro at these procedures, recalls a height phobia case where her client was able to recall his past traumas so rapidly that they seemed to be mere eyeblinks apart. Here's how it happened.
- What was really behind Janice's fear of flying?: Fears and phobias often dissipate in short order with EFT. On those occasions when they don't, however, we need to look for underlying issues. Often a simple question will bring them to the surface and then we are usually a short EFT session away from resolution. Alan Morison (from the United Kingdom) illustrates this nicely with his article regarding his client, Janice.
