Thought for the Day: "It is impossible to sell animal stories in the U.S.A." From the rejection slip for George Orwell's Animal Farm
Today's EFT Quote: "EFT has been amazing for backaches! I had nagging backache for many many months and nothing would help. I would do certain exercises, run hot and cold water on it and nothing changed. It didn't get better or worse until I tried EFT. One round and it was gone! Then this last weekend, I picked weeds which can be backbreaking work. Afterwards, I had a back ache. I did one round of EFT and once again, the back ache was gone! Amazing and Thank you!" Rita Tyner

Featured Article #1: Surrogate EFT for a sick dog: A thank you to Eileen Sullivan for her detailed account about how she used EFT for her new "pound puppy." She says, "...but I'd never tapped on a dog before. And this was a new and very sick dog that I didn't have a great connection with yet. I brought her up onto my bed and she laid exhaustedly at my feet, while I watched her and tapped on myself for her. It was stream-of-consciousness style EFT processing, just "tuning in" and tapping on anything I could think of that might help." Email Eileen
Featured Article #2: EFT with a 5 year old boy -- reducing childhood baggage: With EFT, it is now possible to unload "childhood baggage" right after each incident happens. Can you imagine how freeing it would be to grow up that way? Heike Prevrhal gives a good example of this with her 5 year old son and says,"I sensed a lot of fear and feelings of disempowerment and helplessness in these dreams. I simply kept tapping on him while he was describing his dreams. Then his story started shifting and words just kept bubbling out of his mouth like a waterfall for the next 20 minutes...." Featured Article #3: EFT brings relief from a range of allergies and autoimmune disorders - collapsing safety issues does the job: This article by Paul Zelizer is a quality example of how successfully addressing emotional issues can dramatically improve physical issues that seem to be "impossible." Past Articles from the EFT Website
- Where only the pros should tread.: Lori Lorenz gives us the details of an intense case of trauma where "only the pros should tread" (my term). Experienced healing practitioners have all had cases where clients protect themselves by repressing or "not remembering" childhood events that involve torture, maiming, murder, sexual abuse and other unspeakable atrocities. Sometimes these clients appear to lead a normal life until, eventually, these memories show up and cause severe disorientation ...
- Two successful Carpal Tunnel cases: Dr. Tam Llewellyn-Edwards from the UK gives us yet another look at the results of our "Try it on Everything" motto. This time he presents two successful cases on Carpal Tunnel Syndrome--a seemingly "impossible" ailment for EFT because its cause appears to be purely physical.
- Step by step through a first class Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) case: Accolades to Michelle Hardwick from New Zealand for this masterful journey through the details of a quality IBS case. Note how she blends her intuition with the Movie Technique, Specific Events and creative metaphors. She also periodically tests her work and provides us with a rich array of languaging.
- Using EFT as a Mother: Carol Tuttle discusses her use of EFT with her children. Another discussion on this topic can be found on our website at A "must" Procedure for Children
- The height phobia that wouldn't move: This case is about a height phobia that wouldn't move UNTIL we cleared a seemingly unrelated issue. This "seemingly unrelated issue" feature doesn't happen very often but we need to be aware of the possibility. It turned out to be critical in this case.
- Delivering EFT to a macho war veteran: Sometimes it takes great skill just to get someone to do EFT. This can be doubly difficult when the client is a "macho veteran" whose Self Image resists help of any kind--let alone something as different as EFT. Dr. Patricia Carrington steps us through an important case involving a "war flashback" that was easily handled BUT ONLY after she was able to get through her macho client's substantial resistance to being helped. This is a real lesson in the art of delivery. It blends languaging, authority and personal congruence (what one says lines up with what one believes) as convincers for the client.
