Thought for the Day: "None of us can change our yesterdays, but all of us can change our tomorrows." Colin Powell

Today's EFT Quote: "Thank you for touting the use of EFT for improving performance of athletes. I recently helped a friend to improve his pool shooting, a hobby of his. He was in a comfort zone, and was not competing at the level he wished to. I helped him out of that, and he now more often than not defeats the "best" pool player in town. And all of this by phone." Al Viguerie, Ph.D.

Featured Article #1: How EFT for a dental fear brought relief to both mother and daughter :  This EFT "two-for-one benefit" is brought to us by Suzanne Lerner. Note how using EFT for some specific events helped move this case toward success. Email Suzanne and Visit her website

Featured Article #2: Surrogate EFT for an injured stray dog:  Did Amit Lakhwani from India help this badly injured dog through surrogate EFT? Apparently so because there is no other way to explain this dramatic recovery. This is how Amit describes the dog before surrogate EFT, "I saw the mad dog lying in a pool of blood all injured and unconscious right in front of a common water tap. His head was resting on his own feet and he was slowly drifting into further states of unconsciousness with eyes closed and saliva falling from his mouth. I stood a few meters away from him and started to tap on myself with statements like...." Email Amit

  • Using EFT for wrinkles - An alternative to Botox?: Suzanne Zacharia discovered a surprising use for EFT in one of her workshops. She says, "Naturally, they asked me how it worked, so I did some quick thinking and the answer was clear. I think it works very much like Botox does, but without the Botox, by taking out the emotional frown factor."

  • Surrogate EFT substantially aids incontinence, anger, dementia and hearing loss.: Here is yet more evidence of the usefulness of doing EFT surrogately (remotely). Please note author Jo Ann Grogan's statement that, "..the real trick to working surrogately/remotely, as you describe yourself in your DVDs, is getting out of the way yourself. I believe I've been successful because I was able to focus completely on Grandma and how she has been feeling - tuning in, and allowing my intuition to guide me as to what she needs."
  • Using EFT for Jet Lag--even with 4 time changes: Deborah Miller, PhD gives us a detailed look at how she minimized jet lag on her trip from Mexico to Holland and back. In her words, "I thought this would be a great playground for using EFT in order to enjoy my trip." For world travelers, this is a highly useful procedure.
  • Jewels in the junkyard--the prison population: I have spent many hours with prisoners, both in groups and in individual sessions. Until you establish trust with them, they can be an uncooperative group with "Don't Trespass" signs written all over their psyches. Once I gained their trust, however, they were most willing, even anxious, to get help.
  • "I have a fear of spiders you can't begin to touch!!": This case is important because it explores a situation where a client is actually making good progress even though his/her response would suggest otherwise. This happens more often than you might think and centers around the "Fear of the Fear" which means the fear of the fear returning. This, of course, is a separate issue but when it happens the tendency is to conclude that EFT "doesn't work."
