Thought for the Day: "As long as you don't forgive, who or whatever it is will occupy rent-free space in your mind." Isabelle Holland, award winning author of 28 books.
Today's EFT Quote: "I own a tumbling/dancing studio, and I am LOVING every minute of "performing magic" with EFT. Some of the many successes have included: preschooler quit crying because her dad was late, a 6 year old quit throwing a tantrum about her leotard not fitting right, a 9 year old was able to fully participate in class when her sunburn didn't hurt anymore, one of my instructors healed her knee, and many students have performed new tumbling tricks when EFT removed their fear. The mothers and children keep saying to me, "How did you do that?" And yes--- I HAVE been teaching the parents (and children) how to do EFT for themselves." Judy Whitcraft

Featured Article #1: EFT for menstrual cramps: Linda Compton produced one of our "one minute wonders" with her granddaughter's menstrual cramps. The pain level of the cramps started at an 8 our of 10. After doing EFT briefly, Linda says,"The cramps went down to a 2 on a scale of 0 to 10 and then absolutely nothing. She stopped complaining, never mentioned it again and was fine the rest of the evening. She was here a few days later and said the cramps never came back and she was fine." Email Linda
Featured Article #2: Surrogate EFT helps a screaming baby on a plane: Many EFT'ers report helping crying babies on a plane. While we don't get a 100% success rate, we get the job done often enough to impress any skeptic. Hildegard Hintz from Canada shows us how she did it using surrogate mental tapping. Featured Article #3: Cascade tapping: Angela Treat Lyon offers a tapping routine that she calls Cascade tapping. It involves a great deal of tapping and parallels the continual tapping idea put forth by Dr. David Lake. You will need to try it to see if it creates more benefits for you over repeatedly tapping in the normal way. I offer a perspective at the end of her article. Email Angela and Visit her website

- Back Pain: "Even though this should be working, it's not and I don't know why...": This brief article by Debbie Falzon points out the value of aiming EFT at important emotional issues when physical pain persists. Please note how she used "Even though this should be working, it's not and I don't know why..." as a means to discover the core issue.
- How to make EFT work when it "doesn't work.": Dr. Carol Look gives us yet another impressive example of how advanced EFT skills can turn a "stuck" case into a winner. Her skeptical client was traumatized by seeing a man falling from the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. While his initial efforts with EFT "didn't work," Carol's persistence and skill revealed the true core issue that was triggered--the client's fear of heights.
- Being creative about a stubborn dental phobia: On her popular EFT discussion list, Betty Moore-Hafter reported a 3 hour marathon session regarding "Susan's" intense dental phobia. Since it contained many creative approaches to a stubborn problem, I asked for her permission to recreate it here. Please note the various angles and languaging that Betty uses...they are very professional and highly transferable to many types of cases.
- An EFT Newcomer relieves Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD): Tam and Mair Llewellyn from the UK share with us a letter from Geoff Graham, a therapist and recent graduate of their EFT training courses. Several things are worth noting....Geoff's apprehension about trying the strange looking method, the emotional trauma that emerged as the major problem, and Geoff's use of the "tap while telling the story" method of delivering EFT. This is a very convenient and effective technique that often brings up important aspects without having to dig them up. Highly recommended.
- Relieving arthritis pain brings impressive side benefit: Roseanna Ellis gives us this brief story emphasizing not only some impressive arthritis relief but also the unexpected cessation of a urinary problem.
- Getting over a gang rape--including a follow-up: Ellen Simes' client was gang raped and, of course, held within her all the anger and related emotions that go with that experience. Ellen is well studied in EFT and, as you might expect, separated out many aspects for tapping. As you will see, this one session allowed the client to travel a long way down the road to resolution.
