Featured Article #1: EFT for a suffering dog, test anxiety, needle fear and death transitions: In EFT sessions of 30 minutes or less Karen Hanys makes solid progress for people with many issues. She includes some insights that are worth your investigation. Email Karen
Featured Article #2: Surrogate EFT to help restless kids - or is it a coincidence?: Does calming restless children with surrogate EFT really work? Apparently so, as we have had numerous supportive reports on this topic. Victoria Deasy gives us another example and then says, "I tried this at least 4 more times, all within a month or two. This was during the Christmas season so there may have been more frazzled nerves than usual, but in each case, the child settled down completely. Just coincidence?" Email Victoria
Featured Article #3: Did surrogate EFT help a cat accept a new dog into the household?: As you will see in this well written article by Arinda Davis, her cat's animosity toward the new dog appeared to subside with EFT. Because of the passage of time, we cannot clearly conclude that EFT did the entire job here. However, Arinda's approach and the way she tuned into her cat supply a useful model for doing surrogate EFT with our pets. Email Arinda

- Trauma success in Israel--as told by the client: Three PhD's from North America conducted an EFT (and related techniques) workshop in Israel to help therapists deal with the widespread trauma in that country. This is a story of one of the attendees and her description of what it feels like to have the intense sting of trauma be so cleanly lifted by these tapping procedures.
- A classic example of an EFT delayed healing for pain: Sometimes, when people conclude that EFT "doesn't work", they need only wait awhile for a delayed healing to occur. I've seen this many times. Typically, 10 minutes to an hour later the former problem just seems to have vanished. It is typically subtle and people don't notice it right away. This is a very important concept for EFT students to understand.
- Carpal tunnel magazine article: This article by Mary Kuriger appeared in Alternatives magazine in November 1998, and it details her experience with EFT and her case of carpal tunnel . Here is an excerpt... "After extensive chiropractic and physical therapy treatment, I thought I was as healed as I was going to be without surgery. Even though I felt better in general, the chronic pain still wore me down occasionally. In 1997 I was introduced to Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). After being guided through a tapping sequence for about 10 minutes, I had absolutely no pain! I couldn't believe it!"
- A case that didn't work--and some suggestions: Margaret Condy has had some good successes as a new EFT'er. However, she couldn't get her father-in-law's recent onset of depression to budge. We don't claim 100% results with EFT but our success ratio is high enough to cause us to wonder "what happened" when we appear to strike out. These cases where EFT "didn't work" offer us opportunities to learn and further enhance our skills.
- Hernia relief: "Mom, how did you do that?": Listen in as Dawn Norton describes her use of EFT for her son's hernia pain. Note that when the Dr. examined him afterwards, the was no sign of a hernia.
- A dog's thunder anxiety fades with surrogate EFT: Here is yet another successful example of using EFT surrogately (remotely) for animals. We have so many reports like this that I suspect, someday, EFT will be a standard tool for pet owners.
