Thought for the Day: "The way to get things done is not to mind who gets the credit for doing them." Benjamin Jowett
Today's EFT Quote: "I have been doing EFT for about 12 months and it is like opening presents every time. Surprises and delights, some disappointments but always a gift." Jenny Duffy
Today's Helpful Hint: Suppose you apply EFT successfully for a physical symptom and, later, that symptom "comes back." In this case, it is usually an error to assume that EFT "didn't work" or "didn't hold." Rather than give up, try addressing deeper core emotional issues ...OR... assume that the symptom is serving as a barometer for unresolved angers, guilts, grief, etc. If the symptom is, indeed, serving as a barometer then you have a useful indicator of your progress. It will likely subside each time another emotional issue fades.

Featured Article #1: Doing the EFT Movie Technique in slow motion -- getting to important and otherwise hidden aspects: A thank you to Chris Shaver for this innovative method for separating a specific event into its many possible aspects. To use it, demands solid EFT skills. He describes it as, "...a means of unpacking life-threatening trauma aspects with a slightly different twist on the Movie Technique. I call it The Slow Motion Movie Technique. Understanding how this works can help you understand how to get at all the unprocessed emotion that deeply traumatic situations can produce." Email Chris

Past Articles from the EFT Website
- Using EFT for a choking emergency: Ariele Love successfully applies EFT to her husband for his sudden onset of violent choking. This example points to the many emergency uses of EFT and, in my experience, should be an important tool in any healer's toolbox.
- EFT and visible changes in physical appearance: Catherine O'Driscoll from Scotland provides this useful case where her client, Lawrence, has an impressive physical transformation that could be seen right before her eyes. I've had several reports of this over the years and have seen it a few times myself.
- Physical therapy like it should be--dramatic improvements in a rehab center: Roseanna Ellis recently spent some time applying EFT in a nursing home rehab center. Her prolific results are given in this article. This would be a good one to show to other rehab centers as a way to show how much could be done to accelerate healing.
- Try EFT on Everything--even jellyfish stings: Here, with this brief article by Tara Severns, is yet more evidence of the wide ranging uses for EFT. Tara explains, "She removed the bag of ice to show me the angry looking dark pink rash on her arm where the tentacles had come in contact with her skin...With just one more round of "this sting" she was exclaiming, "It's gone. It's just gone!"" Please bring this case to the attention of your physicians.
- Persistent EFT brings arthritis to its knees: Here's a classic example of how persistently applying EFT mechanically to a serious physical issue like arthritis can give impressive benefits. More impressive, however, is the complete cessation of the problem after applying EFT to long standing emotional issues. Please bring this case to the attention of your physicians.
- Relative newbie's first major toe stub: Many thanks to Kathy Karjala for submitting this foot pain case where she hits a "brick wall" and gets nowhere with her client. These are important cases to explore because this is where we can expand our skills. Kathy applies some insightful uses of EFT, but still no luck. At the end of her article I discuss possibilities for future approaches. Hopefully, they will be useful for you.
