Featured Article #1: Addressing Generalized Anxiety Disorder by aiming EFT at specific events: Study this case by Suzanne Lerner. It is an excellent example of addressing a global issue (Generalized Anxiety disorder) by going to some of the specific events underlying it. She says, "While medication is often used to treat Generalized Anxiety Disorder, my work with clients with EFT has shown that there can often be very specific "core events" that the person has repressed from everyday consciousness. When these underlying traumas are addressed, there can be a remarkable shift towards greater health and well-being." Email Suzanne and Visit her website
Featured Article #2: Mental EFT for a persistent dust allergy: Here's an interesting use of mental EFT (imagining the tapping) from Rishikesh Sutaria of India. Note that she had previously tried everything and says, "I had been suffering from burning, itchy, and red eyes for nearly a year. One doctor stated that I had allergy to dust, and I should always use a car for commuting. He prescribed some antibiotics. But that did not resolve the problem. He upgraded the medicines to some steroids with still no relief. Another doctor confirmed that this is due to the dandruff on my eyelashes, which when it goes inside the eyes creates the itchiness, burning and tears. All this continued for 10 months. God! I was really frustrated over this." Email Rishikesh
Featured Article #3: When physical symptoms persist despite EFT treatment: I am sometimes asked if EFT's ability to reduce pain isn't some form of "pain masking" rather than true healing. Well, I'm not a doctor and must advise everyone to seek proper medical advice on these matters. However, in my observations over the years, if a pain keeps coming back after skillful uses of EFT, then that is clear evidence that there is something organically wrong that requires a visit to a qualified physician. Gillian Wightman from the UK gives us a good example of this. Email Gillian and Visit her website

- An Intense fear of tunnels in Norway: In this well written article, join Ellen Dyb Wedeld as she overcomes her intense fear of tunnels by driving through some of the longest tunnels in Norway. This an excellent article for EFT students as it is a very complicated case and addresses many aspects. It also involves recognizing the "fear of the fear" which is an important concept to recognize when delivering EFT.
- She had plantar warts for 42 years and had tried EVERYTHING to get rid of them.: Here's one for our "Try EFT on Everything" files. This may be astonishing to newcomers but seasoned EFT'ers are quite used to these results. In this article, "One amateur 'dose' of EFT and guess what, when I next went to scrub the spot on my foot that had been hosting three painful little lumps, they were gone! Not even a scar! Its now been three months. There aren't any anywhere on my body."
- EFT relieves "Emotional Toothache": Claudia Zulker from South Africa developed a toothache whose origin was, to her, clearly emotional. While EFT eventually relieved it completely, the pain got worse during the process. Healing responses often vary, with or without EFT, and it is not uncommon for symptoms to worsen as the body rids itself of toxins.
- Using EFT to regain Laurence's sense of taste.: Some people lose their sense of taste or smell due to disease or trauma. Fortunately, however, we can use EFT to help recover these lost sense(s). Here is evidence from Martine Moorby about how to do that for the sense of taste for her client, Laurence. The sense of smell can likely be recovered by similar means. Note that Martine's article begins with an introduction. Laurence's story unfolds after that.
- Using EFT for Poison Ivy: This "one minute wonder" by an EFT Newbie should help multitudes of people with their poison ivy miseries. The end result? "A few days ago I pulled up a plant with my bare hands and rubbed it up and down my arm. No reaction." The same process should work for poison oak as well.
- A model case for all complicated phobias: This case by Tania de Winne, MD of Belgium stands as a model for EFT'ers dealing with stubborn (complicated) phobias. Although it deals with an unusual phobia (involving a navel), Dr. de Winne's persistence and attention to emerging aspects provides us with many lessons. Note how she deals with the client's beliefs in "Hara" and "Dreamcord." It doesn't matter whether these beliefs are true but it DOES matter that the client believes in them.
