Questions on PR as well as possible dangers. (Other responses follow): PR, or psychological reversal, is generally addressed by the set up portion of the basic recipe. However, in more advanced cases it becomes helpful to know whether or not PR is affecting your results. Abreactions are also a concern with more advanced cases, and both of these issues are discussed here.
- Unbearable hatred toward classmates: Phillip Mountrose has provided us with an excerpt from the book "Getting Thru To Your Emotions with EFT". Although the story takes place in a home for troubled boys, many children have similar emotional responses to social situations, and the simple use of EFT can be equally as helpful in other settings.
- Migraine headache relieved while riding in a car: Rod Sherwin from Australia shows us how rapidly a migraine headache can be resolved. In this case, the migraine was apparently caused by the ingestion of chocolate. As Rod reports, "He said the tunnel vision was gone, he now had full use of his peripheral vision, and the lights in front of eyes were also gone. Needless to say, the nurse who was driving was very surprised."
- Rehana Webster teaches the details behind a successful blushing case: Listen in as Rehana Webster divides a successful blushing case into its various parts.
- Long term severe depression gone in ten minutes: Here's an interesting EFT approach to Depression by John Bullough of the UK. He explains, "Her depression seemed to be focused on feelings of guilt and self-criticism about a series of terrible losses she had suffered over the past few years...When we met again two weeks later...we agreed that she was in great shape to manage on her own from now on. It would typically have taken at least 15 to 20 sessions of cognitive behavioural therapy to achieve anything remotely similar."
- Pulse rate improvement: From 130 to 90 in 1 minute: One of the primary ways new practitioners learn about EFT is to see it displayed somewhere. Perhaps they attend a workshop...or...watch a colleague demonstrate it...or...are introduced to it by a client. At other times it is simply used in a real life situation...such as a hospital. One such display of benefits is described in the article below by Dr. Tam Llewellyn-Edwards from the UK. Here, in a hospital setting (and after other techniques had failed), EFT was able to bring a client's pulse rate down from 130 to 90 within 1 minute.
