Past Articles from the EFT Website
- Using EFT to enhance education skills: Anyone interested in education and "learning blocks" would do well to pay particular attention to this detailed article by Dr. Patricia Carrington. Although her client, "Martin", is an adult, his challenges with learning a computer programming language (JAVA) parallel those of students of all ages. Thus it should be easy to draw ideas from this message that would be helpful to almost anyone. Please pay particular attention to the aspects involved in this case and the creative way Pat handles them.
- Silent Night Sadness -- when certain music gives you the blues: Jayne Morgan-Kidd makes quality use of EFT to release her client from tears whenever she heard Silent Night. This article has a broad use for almost any trigger that sends us in negative directions. As Jayne says, "Many people use music to get in touch with their emotions. They know instinctively that a particular song or a piece of music brings out and helps them express feelings they want to release. By adding EFT to this process, you or your client may be able to release an unresolved emotional disturbance too." Note how Jayne continually tests her progress. Very important.
- The advantages of using the 9 Gamut Procedure: As those who have gone beyond The EFT Course are aware, I have put the 9 Gamut Procedure "on the shelf" and used it only sparingly. However, that doesn't mean it should never be used. As Mair Llewellyn of the UK so eloquently tells us in this article, there are some distinct advantages to its use in certain cases.
- Healing the "Missing Mother Syndrome" with EFT: Carna Zacharias-Miller gives useful tips for using EFT within her specialty of helping "Motherless Daughters." She says, "These are women who grew up without a loving, caring mother, due to death, illness, or emotional unavailability." There is some good in-depth material here.
- A Detailed and Masterful Article on Using EFT for Trauma: Emma Roberts from the UK gives us an in-depth look at trauma and many ways to provide relief with EFT. In her words, "Trauma comes in all shapes and sizes, as does people's response to it. EFT can be used successfully with all of them but this is one area where it may be appropriate to work with a qualified practitioner, at least initially." A must read for professionals and serious students.
- Impressive EFT surrogate work helps horse with sensitive hoof and an electric fence: Nicole Schmid from Australia gives us a quality example of how surrogate EFT can be very useful for animals.
