- Successful Surrogate EFT for Bilbo the Dog: Jasmina Kovacev from New Zealand helps her friend's dog get over a sickness without even knowing the source of the problem. In her words, "This is my first experience with animal work. It is fascinating how quickly we can get results even with animals that can not tell us what the problem is."
- An easy grief case with an aspect that showed up later: Jasmine Bharathan from India gives us the details of using EFT for a simple resolution of grief. An inexperienced EFT'er might conclude in this case that EFT "didn't work" or that it "didn't hold." Neither of these is correct. What happened was that another aspect showed up that wasn't present during the original session. As you will see, it was easily handled.
- Relationship issue: A humorous approach: Angela Treat Lyon uses a creative (and humorous) approach to her friend's relationship issue. As Angela describes, "Of course this particular method won't be efficacious or appropriate for ALL clients ... but with the couple of people with whom I have felt "right" it has worked wonders..." Note that the whole thing was done surrogately.
- Using "mind pictures" for the Setup while doing EFT for Marva the horse: Angela Treat Lyon gives us this creative use of EFT with an agitated horse. Please note how the spine points were used (a useful alternative) and how mind pictures were used for the Setup. This has potential for use with non-verbal humans and for surrogate work.
- Using EFT on abuse issues from "Three points of view": Here's a first class post from Sam Smith of Australia who, in a workshop with abused women, used EFT on their issues from "three points of view." This idea has wide applicability and will help you be more thorough as well as generate greater insights for your clients. Also note how an important 'coincidence' shows up and thus gives, yet again, evidence of EFT's surrogate power.
- EFT used to eliminate golfers' "yips": Many thanks to Lynn Francis of the UK for doing a detailed study and helping 5 golfers get over the "yips." This neuromuscular "jerking" problem affects not only golfers but dentists, musicians and surgeons as well. For those who have it, it is a very serious problem. Before and after reports were published in a golfers magazine, followed up a year later, and both articles are included after Lynn's story.
