WANTED: EFT Research ANGELS!: Spreading EFT's benefits throughout the world is our highest priority. However, to do this we MUST perform the scientific research necessary to open the big doors of the military, corporations, hospitals, schools, prisons, etc. This requires loads of research dollars.
We now have 16 new scientific studies published or in process. This work has been done by Dawson Church and dedicated EFT volunteers, with minimal funds. Now we need ANGELS to take EFT research to the next level and, to do it right, we need to raise several million dollars. For the short run, however, we need $175,000 to complete our existing projects. While all donations are helpful, we are looking for donors of $50,000 or more. Where else could your charitable dollars bring greater benefits to the world? Your tax deductible donations can be made at http://soulmedicineinstitute.org/researcheft.html. You can also call Deb Tribbey or Dawson Church at 1-707 237 6951.

Featured Article #1: When the client wishes to maintain privacy: Sometimes it is important for clients to maintain privacy regarding their issues. In such cases, Michelle Hardwick from the UK suggests using the Box Technique. This augments the EFT process in a way that preserves privacy. In addition, I see it as a way to "take the edge off" of intense issues before getting down to specific events. Please consult physicians on all medical issues. Email Michelle
Featured Article #2: EFT with 11 year old students - SATs and other issues: Both parents and educators will find this step-by-step article by Margaret Loudon of the UK fascinating. Margaret says, "Working with these pupils exceeded all our expectations. We had expected more children not to participate and were impressed with their enthusiasm and the passionate way in which they tapped. We were surprised at the maturity of their own affirmations and how they knew instinctively what to say." Email Margaret
Featured Article #3: Surrogate tapping on a dog cleared chronic ear infections: I really like this article by Colleen Flanagan because it points out so well the value of EFT (including surrogate EFT) for animals. She says, "Many pet owners don't realize how traumatic any change is for their animals. People often assume that animals somehow understand they will be safe with changes made to their environment. The animals' instincts tell them just the opposite." Please consult veterinarians in a case such as this. Email Colleen

- RN applies EFT for pain due to Sickle Cell Anemia and Crohns Disease: This brief article by Ian Roe shows yet another example of how EFT might be used effectively in a medical setting. Please consult physicians on all medical issues.
- Painful wasp sting subsides in minutes: Wasp stings are mega-painful and often take 1 to 3 days to subside. Imagine Linda Thompson's relief to have it disappear after 4 rounds of EFT. Please consult physicians on all medical issues.
- Addressing the "Why Bother?" syndrome: Some clients are so weary of "going nowhere" after doing years of conventional therapy that they are hesitant to give EFT a try. Maggie Adkins calls this the "Why Bother" Syndrome and provides useful ideas to handle it.
- Persistence and Panic Attacks - Quality results on a stubborn issue: Here is a classic example where skilled assistance can make a world of difference in EFT results. Panic attacks can often be handled readily with EFT, but not always. This is a case of not always and is written in the words of Rehana Webster's client.
- Using EFT for stage anxiety: Howard Stanley is the Artistic Director for an Australian stage company and is also a client of Dr. David Lake and Steve Wells. Howard's letter discusses the use of EFT for reducing fear/anxiety for his performers and emphasizes the use of continual tapping.
- Two year belly pain (emotionally caused) - gone in half an hour: Watch how Gabriele Schmidt from Germany uncovers emotional reasons for her client's strong stomach cramps ... all this done over the telephone. Please consult physicians on all medical issues.
