Thought for the Day: "You can complain because roses have thorns or you can rejoice because thorns have roses." Ziggy
Today's EFT Quote: I need to express my gratitude for making your training DVDs available. Every time I work with them I realize new powerful subjects. The advantage of the videos is that important subjects can be watched repeatedly. In my opinion this is a factor which very often is being underestimated. While participating in a seminar the mind captures only certain things, since our mind has the tendency to "to file away" the rest. Watching the videos over and over again brings up things that have been "forgotten" or that one only "hears" when time and person is "ready". Rosemarie Jacobs

Featured Article #2: Getting to feelings and core issues by imagining you are writing a story: Joelle Boucher from the UK provides an interesting version of the EFT Tell the Story Technique that got to an important issue for her client. She instructs her client as follows, "I want you to describe to me how you feel now - as if you're writing about it in a novel and you're the lead character. You're at a crucial stage in the story and you have to let the reader know exactly how the character feels about this situation" Email Joelle
Featured Article #3: An MD reports on using EFT for a jellyfish sting: A thank you to Gabrielle Rutten, MD for this interesting report. Note that the person enduring the jellyfish sting did EFT immediately and had minimal reaction. Dr. Rutten makes this comment on the recovery. "As a MD, I think this is a remarkable quick recovery from a jelly-fish sting. I have helped numerous people after a jelly-fish stings and the reactions can be very severe (nausea and vomiting, breathing difficulties, even shock and death). EFT is definitely a excellent first aid tool!" Please consult physicians on all medical issues.Email Gabrielle and Visit her website

- Fear of dogs disappears as EFT is used on an "unremembered memory": Dr. Fred Feldstein's client, Laurie, was fearful of dogs and would often be reduced to tears in their presence. The likely cause was an event that occurred when Laurie was a baby. However, Laurie had no recollection of this event and had only been told about it by her mother. Note how Dr. Feldstein approaches the problem.
- Newbie achieves a 5 minute wonder for a migraine headache: Migraine headaches are often surprisingly easy to handle with EFT and often (but not always) subside within moments of tapping. Sometimes, however, they require more sophistication and that includes being very specific about the pain. Newbie Frauke Schindel from Germany did just that and nipped a migraine headache in the bud. Please consult physicians on all medical issues.
- Tapping therapies proving themselves in the aftermath of disasters: David Feinstein, Ph.D., has updated "Energy Psychology in Disaster Relief," an article which describes the astounding results being reported by organizations such as the Green Cross after introducing tapping into the treatment protocols following the ethnic cleansing in Rwanda and Kosovo, the tsunami in Southeast Asia, Hurricanes Rita and Katrina, and a dozen other settings. Cases from EFTers Sophia Cayer and Roseanna Ellis are described.
- Expert uses EFT to help athletes with mechanical improvements: Stacey Vornbrock has carved out a growing niche for herself in the sports world. In this article she displays how she uses EFT to help athletes improve their kicking, swinging and other important movements. In rapidly improving a batting swing, for example, Stacey says, "A change like this would normally take hundreds of swings to achieve a similar result. "
- EFT for elderly people who stuff their feelings: Many people choose to "stuff their feelings" and do so even into old age. This has consequences, of course, but Theo Legters from The Netherlands helped his father get beyond the issue. This article is brief and to the point and ends with .... "No psychologist, no nurses or doctors or whatever healthcare person accomplished what EFT has done! And it proves that you're never too old to benefit from EFT!"
- Finding important issues by using EFT from conception to birth: Here is a useful procedure for bringing up any issues that may have occurred in the womb or during the birth process. Kerstin Warkentin from Germany takes us step by step through the process and gives us many good ideas along the way.
