Ask a Veteran about EFT's value: Debi Stanley is a Veteran who experienced EFT in a specialized workshop for Vets in San Francisco over a year and a half ago. She is willing to correspond with you about her experience. She says, "Before EFT in San Francisco, I had been suffering from depression for over 20 years and took every med in the books. I also had severe nightmares once or twice per week that would cause me to scream in the middle of the night. After EFT, I am off the meds and have had neither depression nor nightmares since. EFT saved my life." Email Debi

- Eight ways to overcome barriers to success with EFT: Karin Witzig shares her methods for getting the most out of EFT. She addresses some common barriers, both within herself and her clients, to putting this powerful tool into regular practice. Many good ideas here.
- Resolving several aspects of grief over the death of a beloved pet: Note how Dawn Murray from Canada recognizes the many pieces to her client's grief and how she handles them as they show up. Also note the "side benefit" that occurs at the end.
- Using EFT with a rebellious teen: Kim Eisen exhibits first class rapport skills with her rebellious client and applies EFT to the real reasons for the rebellion. She says, "In 15 short years she had accumulated so much distress and worked harder and harder to become perfect for them [her parents], that she finally broke down and her only apparent choice was rebellion, beyond what we might call the 'normal' teenage rebellion. When I brought her out of my office, she actually was kind to her mother and just wanted to go home and sleep. Her mother told me later that on the way home, she just talked about how cool it was and she wanted to come back."
- Trigeminal Neuralgia - perhaps the worst pain known to medical science - disappears after addressing core issues with EFT: Those who doubt that unresolved negative emotions show up as physical symptoms should immerse themselves in this fascinating article by Christine Hines from the UK. Note how she uses EFT for routine pain management but, in the face of current intense emotions, her pain was so intense that she had to search for core issues. Once found, of course, the pain disappears. Stories like these appear frequently on our website. You are encouraged to print them out, create a book from them and give them to your physician(s). Please consult physicians on all medical issues.
- A craving for chocolate and the true reason behind it: Addictive cravings sometimes represent a crying out for love. You can usually identify such cases when a few rounds of EFT directed at cravings has only minimal impact. That's because there's a bigger emotional need that drives the cravings. This article by Gabriele Rother from Germany illustrates this beautifully. Note how she weaves in SPECIFIC EVENTS in the latter part of the session with her client.
- EFT for back strain: Sejual Shah gives us a straightforward use of EFT for a friend's back strain. It's important to recognize that this type of relief is not limited to back strains. It applies to just about any strain (or pain) you can name. Please consult physicians on all medical issues.
