Thought for the Day: "Loving people live in a loving world. Hostile people live in a hostile world. But it's the same world. How come?" Dr. Wayne Dyer
Today's EFT Quote: "Using EFT, you clear out anger, grief, guilt, shame and emotional blocks. It 's painless, speedy, powerful and easy!" Nancy Polites
Today's Helpful Hint: Doing EFT over the phone can be VERY effective and many of our practitioners have learned to do this. The advantages are: (1) the client doesn't have to drive across town for an appointment, (2) the practitioner can do it in his/her living room and, for that matter, in his/her pajamas, (3) the appointment can be done right at the time necessary (e.g. panic attacks) rather than wait for "next Wednesday's appointment," (4) sessions can be variable in length and (5) it greatly expands the practitioners' geographical reach and thus their potential clientele. Note, however, that some states/countries may have regulations about going across state lines.

Featured Article #1: Tina broke free from an age 12 trauma: Caryl Westmore from the UK zeroed in on her client's specific event, cleared it with EFT and gave her client emotional freedom. Note how the painful memory surfaced during the EFT process. Email Caryl and Visit her website
Featured Article #2: EFT for a gambling addiction: Karen Degen from New Zealand reports on a successful case. Her client says, "Well I had one and a half hours with Karen and went from a 10 (being so wanting to go gambling) down to a 1 in that time. I did my tapping homework to work on the last little bit. I was on cloud nine for weeks, I have not played the pokies nor do I want to, since the day I saw Karen three months ago." I make some suggestions at the end in case the addiction re-appears. - EFT for sports performance and oral surgery: Shannon Hendrix applies EFT in two areas of her son's life - both with remarkable success. As she says, "I am stunned, amazed and thrilled at how my novice effort has paid off big time for my son in these two keenly important areas in his world!" Please consult physicians on all medical issues.
- Persistence pays for chronic health problems: Here's a good example of how persistent detective work can bring benefits when you are seemingly stuck. Terry Morel of the UK was making minimal progress on a client's chronic health issues even though, presumably, a core issue was being addressed. As it turns out, that core issue was not the only one. Please consult physicians on all medical issues.
- Thoughts on resolving difficult physical problems: In this 3 part series, Ryan Kurczak gives us examples and insightful concepts for getting physical relief where EFT seems to fail or falter. Please consult physicians on all medical issues.
- Blending NLP with EFT - Rapport: How to get it with anybody: I have high regard for NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and its valuable offerings for therapy and communications. It is particularly useful when blended with EFT. Fortunately, we have Don Blackerby among us who has advanced skills in both methods. Listen in as he gives us important details about the all-important rapport process.
- Finding a core issue driving OCD: The conventional treatment for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) typically involves drugs and/or endless hours of therapy sessions. With EFT, however, we look for unresolved emotional issues that drive the unwanted behaviors and, once these core issues are collapsed, the behaviors subside. In this article, note how Figen Genco keeps looking for an important core issue and eventually finds one. More sessions may be necessary to locate more core issues, but the way this one is discovered is well worth reading.
- Success with type II diabetes and connecting emotionally: Our gratitude to Marta, from the Czech Republic, for this quality case wherein type II diabetes is materially improved after emotional work with EFT. She says, "After this week of EFT sessions, my client went to see his doctor for a medical check. His blood sugar dropped from an average of 460 to 190 and his blood pressure dropped as well. His doctor had no explanation for this improvement - this was a patient with previous medical report of his pancreas working at only 30%! But the improvement was there and 5 months later still persists." Please consult physicians on all medical issues.
