Surrogate EFT arrests a grand mal seizure
Here is an important case for those who still question the use of surrogate (remote) EFT. In this instance Linda Wood (over the phone and from 5,000 miles away) performs EFT for her son's grand mal (epileptic) seizure. After the episode she says,
"His usual pattern after a seizure is to be 'out like a light' for at least 20 minutes afterwards, then awaken with an excruciating headache, unable to go to work or do anything. This has happened many times even when I've been there physically as he started into one. This time, however, [after EFT] he managed to pull himself together within just a couple minutes after the seizure, get up, take a shower, and go right to work and work a 12 hour shift, no headache, nothing. It was fantastic and gave me great hope."
Please note the cautionary comments on our Frequently Asked Questions regarding epilepsy.
My son, who is in his 30's, suffers from Epilepsy. While I've not tried to help him 'cure' this problem, I have had a situation with him where I felt I 'had' to use EFT and was AMAZED at the results.
His seizures are somehow triggered only after he's been sleeping, usually just before or after he's awakened. One day I phoned him in America from here in the UK. He had been awakened from sleep by my phone call.
No sooner had he answered the phone and began talking to me, when I heard the familiar beginning sounds of his going into a grand mal seizure. I started to panic, wondering what I could do from 5,000 miles away, then quickly remembered EFT so began shouting his name and telling him, "Thad, I am tapping for you", as I tapped on myself, telling him what I was doing as I did it, and actually saying "tap, tap, tap" as I tapped. ("I'm tapping on the eyebrow now, tap, tap, tap. Side of eye, tap, tap, tap,").
Now, normally he'd be in this seizure for what would seem like several minutes, probably at least two, maybe three. This time, however, by the time I'd tapped through just a couple quick short rounds, (maybe just less than one minute at the very most) he was coming out of it. He was extremely tired but he could respond to my questions of, "whether he was alright, if it was alright to hang up and leave him" and so forth.

At the time of his seizure, he didn't realize what I was doing on the other end of the phone. He said he only remembers hearing my voice and that's what kept him hanging on and prevented him from going into a full blown seizure where he normally falls onto the floor and bangs his head repeatedly on whatever happens to be in the way, etc.
Now, was it my voice? Or was it EFT? Remember that I'd said there have been numerous times throughout the years where I've been there with him and tried to 'talk' or 'shout' him out of seizures with little or no results. I would say that it was EFT's fantastic benefits that helped him have these amazing results. So, for those who wonder about using it with Epilepsy, what have we got to lose? In all these years, we've not personally found any other help for it even though we've seen many of the 'best' specialists throughout the U.S.
Thank you for allowing me to share my effective use of EFT. To me, EFT is the 'missing link' to many other therapies. I don't know how I ever survived without it.
Love,
Linda Wood
