Do you attract clients that want everything for free?

Hi Everyone,

While the healing profession certainly attracts clients with limited ability to pay, Rebecca Marina suggests this be put into perspective and gives tips to provide balance and prosper within this environment. She says, "I have found that people will absolutely pay for something that they really want and perceive as valuable.  Why shouldn't they value your services?  They will if you do.  A client may tell you they don't have funds for your services, but if you were offering a guaranteed product to make them lose weight, or thicken up balding hair, or make their 'penis bigger', I can assure you they would come up with the funds right quick."

Hugs, Gary

Hi Gary,

I thought this article might help some EFT practitioners move into actually making a great living doing EFT.  Since my own practice generates over $10,000 per month on a consistent basis, I feel qualified to give a bit of advice now and then.

Rebecca

If you are a seasoned EFT professional and you are still attracting clients that want everything for free, then you have a problem.  Here are some causes of this issue.

#1 Your clients do not perceive you as valuable.  This can only be caused by one thing …YOU do not perceive YOURSELF as valuable.  To solve this, do some energy work on yourself and take classes if you need more education.  Do whatever it takes -just get your vibes saying "value, value value."

#2 You have a "savior of the world" complex.  What the heck is that?  Well, if you feel guilty and that it's your duty to treat every single person who crosses your path, no matter whether they're ready for healing or not … then you have a "savior of the world" complex.  (Besides the 'savior' thing has already been done … by the best)  I would absolutely do some tapping on that.

Here's the thing … if all your clients want your services for "no charge", then they're  probably not in the space for healing anyway.

When you expend your energy trying to help someone who is not ready and they don't feel it's valuable enough to pay you, then your energy is getting way out of balance.  This causes resentment on your part (ask me how I know this one). So what's the solution?

Take a really good look at #1 and #2.  Do you see any issues you could tap on yourself for?  Get straight on how you value your own self and then your energy can shift.  Sit down and have a talk with the universe.  Flat out ask for what you want! Do you want to continue with deadbeat clients who don't want to pay you?  Or, do you want clients who really value your services?

Think about it … are you willing to tap on the guilt you may feel for saying no?  (Gee, there is a niche market right there, helping people learn to say NO).  If a person tries to put a guilt trip on you or expects you to give them special treatment just because of their sad story - do you really think they are ready for healing?  Heck no!  They haven't gotten enough "juice" out of  their sad story yet.

I have found that people will absolutely pay for something that they really want and perceive as valuable.  Why shouldn't they value your services?  They will if you do.  A client may tell you they don't have funds for your services, but if you were offering a guaranteed product to make them lose weight, or thicken up balding hair, or make their 'penis bigger', I can assure you they would come up with the funds right quick.

Now, if you have a "savior of the world" complex going on, right now you're probably starting to get aggravated with me.  "But Rebecca, who is going to take care of all the poor and downtrodden people in the world?"  Well, I don't know … would you like to keep doing it for the rest of your life?  Or, are you ready to let some other up and coming practitioner take her or his turn?

Even Jesus said, "The poor will always be with us."  Now, I don't know about you but I've spent at least 50 years of my life giving freely to the poor.  (I still do but now only as guided by Spirit)  As a matter of fact, I built my practice giving away complimentary sessions.  There's nothing wrong with giving away complimentary sessions … actually, this is the best way to get experience that I know of.  In this case, there really is an "exchange of energy" because you're getting experience and education in exchange for the client getting treatment.  This client may be even harder to help since they are not investing financially.  If you help them … then you will be awesome when you start getting paid.  Enough said - great exchange of energy.

It's important to be tuned in to spirit. Sometimes spirit will direct me to help a client for no charge.  However, if a client asks me if they can have my services for nothing, I always say no.  When a person is in a desperate situation they need EFT for desperation before any other treatment will work.  I do give that away complimentarily on my website and I suggest you create one too.

I feel like I do my part with over 30 no-cost instructional self help videos on youtube and many no cost emotional exercises on my website.  (All of this costs me in time and finances.)

The point of this article is simply this... if you want to start attracting quality clients do this.

#1. Get really clear what you don't want anymore.
#2. Get  really clear what you do want.
#3. You must be willing to do your own emotional work to raise your level of attraction.
#4. Take inspired action to build your practice.

You may have to give up some of those deadbeat clients to make room for the paying clients.  You surely will have to give up your "savior of the world" complex.  Are you ready to value yourself and allow your customers to value their selves?  Hopefully this article will help you take a good hard look at your own energy and where it is at.  I want the very best for you and the Universe does too.  The world is indeed waiting for your healing gifts.

Rebecca

PS. I don't mind charging a higher fee than most for my classes. They are sent to me straight from spirit and are unlike anything else out there. Your work will accelerate too as you grow in confidence and value your own precious, priceless gifts.
