Yet another impressive use of Surrogate EFT--this time an audience sends the client out of the room and taps for her

Hi Everyone,

Study this article Dr. Kiya Immergluck and use its principles to relieve a wide variety of human issues. The client in this case says, "...two things that really stand out for me is the fact that the person being tapped for does not need to even be thinking about it (I was very engaged in a conversation with two other people in another room) and that when I returned to the room I was sort of bothered by what I felt were insignificant questions and was wanting to get to the main issue!  When I realized that it was "the issue" and that I had actually said it was a "10", it was hard to even believe … amazing!"

Dear Gary,

I have been having amazing results working with children using EFT and Tappy Bear.  (Tappy Bear is a wonderful plush Teddy Bear with tapping point buttons on his body--you can, however, get similar results with a store bought stuffed toy bear).  I will send another letter about it, but right now I want to tell you about an amazing example of surrogate tapping that happened at the end of a workshop that Alina Frank and I recently taught in Chicago.

We promised our participants that we would show them an example of surrogate tapping if we had time.  One woman volunteered to talk about an issue and then leave the room while the group of 20 people surrogately tapped for her.

As an extra component, we handed the students Tappy Bears, so they could tap on the bears instead of themselves if they would like to do it that way.

"Sally" told us that she was feeling very guilty about "not being there" for her son, "Joe."  She talked about many general issues, and finally zeroed in on an incident from her adult son's childhood.

"When Joe was five years old, he was very fond of a little tent that went over his bed.  The tent was broken and I promised Joe that I would fix it for him.  I was in a big hurry one day, and threw it in the garbage.  To this day, Joe talks about how bad he felt that I didn't fix his tent like I promised and I threw it away."

Sally began to cry and told us that the issue was definitely a "10."  She then left the room for 5 minutes while we all surrogately tapped for her on Tappy Bear:

Even though I wasn't there for Joe and threw away his tent…

Even though I betrayed my son's trust by throwing away his tent instead of fixing it like I promised…

Even though I feel guilty that my grown son still remembers that I threw away his tent…

We then did 2 or 3 surrogate rounds about "throwing away his tent" and "I was a bad mother."  We then called Sally back in the room.  She told us that she got involved in a conversation and didn't hear anything we were saying.

"What is your number (level of intensity on a scale of 0 to 10) now?" Alina and I asked her.

She looked very puzzled and said:  "What are you talking about?"

We said, "You know, the issue about throwing away your son's tent?"

She started to say, "Oh, he was just a little boy."

Everyone in the room was astonished.  She said that it wasn't an issue at all, and couldn't believe that it was a level of intensity of 10 out of 10 just a few minutes before!  When I wrote Sally and asked her permission to send you this story, here is part of her reply:

"No problem to write it up ... I still can hardly believe it, two things that really stand out for me is the fact that the person being tapped for does not need to even be thinking about it (I was very engaged in a conversation with two other people in another room) and that when I returned to the room I was sort of bothered by what I felt were insignificant questions and was wanting to get to the main issue!  When I realized that it was "the issue" and that I had actually said it was a "10", it was hard to even believe … amazing!"

One student was so shocked by the results that he said: "If I saw this demonstration before this weekend, I would have been convinced that Sally was pretending!"  He also said that it helped him to concentrate by tapping on Tappy Bear, rather than himself.

So, Tappy Bear is useful for children and adults, and 20 people witnessed collapsing an issue from "10" to "0" in just 5 minutes using surrogate tapping!

Blessings,

Kiya
