Using EFT in the Emergency Room: Raging bladder infection subsides

Hi Everyone,

This fascinating article is from Dr. Gerry Shigekawa, a chiropractor. He took his wife to the hospital Emergency Room for frequent urination, pelvic pains and blood in the urine. Blood tests were taken and the problem was considered severe. Nonetheless, Gerry and his wife used EFT in the Emergency Room and resolved the problem. This borders on a medical impossibility. Note the various approaches used. Please consult physicians on all medical issues.

Hugs, Gary

Hi Gary:

Here's a case on how EFT can be efffective on "everything":

A few days ago my wife came home in the afternoon and for no known reason she started to have an extreme case of diuresis (frequent urination). She first thought it was caused by her consuming a large iced-tea and a lemonade with lunch.  But she had this uncontrollable urge to urinate, havine to make a trip to the bathroom every 5 or 10 mins.

She became concerned when she noticed the urine was becoming tinged with blood. She become more concerned when she began having pelvic pains. She continued making frequent trips to the bathroom and when the urine became heavily tinged with blood, she called me, told me what was going on. So I decided, just be on the safe side, we'd go to the local hospital Emergency Room (ER).

When we went to the local ER, and with my wife's symptoms of frequent urination, pelvic pain, and some blood in the urine, we found that this was not a high priority on the triage protocol. So while waiting to be seen, we started tapping.  Since we didn't know what we were dealing with, we tapped on the symptoms; "Even though I can't hold my bladder......", "Even though I have this pelvic pain...."; "Even though there is blood in my urine.." ....I deeply and profoundly .....".

The trips to the restroom remained constant at about every 5 or 10 minutes; however, after about 30 minutes, the pelvic pain increased to a 10+ (on a 0-10 intensity scale) and the urine was now dark red with blood.  My wife now had some worry and fear so we tapped on that in the set-up, and I added the choice statement: ".....I choose to believe that my innate intelligence with all its supreme wisdom will bring my body, mind, and spirit back in harmony and stop this pain and blood in my urine. "

We kept tapping, with interruptions every 15 minutes for trips to the restroom.  We kept tapping on the feelings my wife had....the fear, worry, the pain....for over an hour until my wife was finally seen by an ER physician.  They collected a sample, put a STAT order on it, took some vital signs, and we waited for the results.

While waiting we continued to tap.  It took another hour and 20 minutes before we had the report of the findings of the urinalysis.  During that time, as we tapped, the pelvic pain came down to a 3 and the urine started to clear.  When the ER doctor returned with the urinalysis report, all the readings were: "TNTC" which means " TOO NUMEROUS TO COUNT'".....the diagnosis was a raging bladder infection.  But since the urine was collected, we continued tapping and my wife's symptoms had reduced significantly. So I asked the ER doctor if he would humor me and take another urine sample.

The first urine sample had been taken over an hour ago, and, according to normal medical procedures, there shouldn't be any change within that time, But I told the physician that I would gladly pay out of pocket for the second urinalysis....so reluctantly another urine sample was collected and rushed up the the lab for a STAT order.  We continued to tap adding the tail ender: ".....I'm asking my immune system, nervous, and circulatory system to send lymphocytes, T-cells, NK cells to bladder....". The report showed findings in the high normal ranges, a far cry from the results of the original urinalysis. The explanation given was that the "lab may have made a mistake! ....but just as a  precaution, I am going to prescribe some antibiotics for a bladder infection...."

We had spent about 4 1/2 hours in the ER, tapping as we were waiting.  Was it a mistake in the lab work, a fluke, or just "spontaneous remission?'  I think it was EFT allowing the body to heal itself.....maybe too eclectic an explanation as far as providing a medical explantation.  When we returned home, the frequency of urination had stopped, the pelvic pain was gone, and there was no blood in the urine.  She slept well that night, not even having to wake up to urinate, woke up the next morning, and hasn't had any problems since.

As a secondary benefit to my wife's issues, during one of her frequent trips to the restroom, I realized that the ER waiting room was a madhouse on this evening. There was standing room only, with adults, infants, children, and elderly waitiing to be seen.  There had to be at least a half-dozen children in all sizes......infant, toddler, children all in various stages of distress. Some were screaming, some were crying, but all were keeping the decibel level quite high......The noise was unbearable at times.

So while my wife was in the restroom I decided it couldn't hurt if I tapped surrogately (on myself) for the children. So I started tapping while looking and focusing on the various children around the room. I tapped away for the children with the set up:

"Even though I'm not feeling good, and I don't know what's wrong with me, and I know my mommie and daddy brought me here because they love me. I'm still a great kid'" I looked/stared in the direction of  each infant or child and tapped away.  After about 15 minutes, when my wife returned from the restroom, the first thing she said was "Where did all kids go?" I told her I was tapping for them. Some of the children were still restless and continued to show some distress, but there wasn't the incessant and constant crying and screaming. There was a moan and a loud occasional whimper, but no more screaming.    I think it was the "Borrowing Benefits" of EFT. Again, EFT to the rescue!
