EFT for food poisoning

In addition to consulting your physician, you might also try EFT if you suspect you are the victim of food poisoning. Sarajane Thomas did this and reports her impressive results in this article.

Recently, I ate part of a Caesar salad that had been sitting in my refrigerator for several days.  It didn't taste good, and I threw most of it away.  About an hour later and quite suddenly, I became extremely nauseated.  Even though I felt poorly, I went to a hair cut appointment.  Upon arriving at the beauty shop, it was clear that I needed to be at home.  I rescheduled and returned home to bed for a half-hour nap.  When I awakened I felt better at first, but then the discomfort returned with increased aggravation.

I began to wonder if this continually growing pain might be somehow associated with the colon surgery I had experienced 10 weeks before.  There was pain across my entire stomach and abdomen.  Moreover my head was plugged up as though my body were responding to some huge yet unknown allergen.  I sensed the strong need to vomit from one end and discharge from the other end as well.

Finally, about three hours after eating the Caesar salad I had the sense of mind to do some EFT.  I felt resistant to doing the tapping, but I proceeded anyway.  Because I was muddle-headed, I was unable to create appropriate set-up phrases; I seemed only able to focus on pain in the stomach and abdomen for about 20 minutes while I tapped (even a bit chaotically sometimes). 

The discomfort began to ease up just a bit and I stopped doing the EFT at that point.  In 20 to 30 minutes as I was resting, an unusual event took place.  It was as though I was lying on a warm beach parallel to the waves coming in from the ocean, and as one of those spiritual waves passed over and through me, I was expressly and totally healed. It was one of those EFT delayed reactions that are reported so often.

I spoke with my doctor on this because the issue was so intense and he said it had nothing to do with my colon surgery. Further, food poisoning, in my understanding, typically would last for the better part of a day or more and not just 3 hours
