Using silent tapping in cases where speaking out loud is too loony

Hi Everyone,

For some EFT clients, the spoken part of the EFT process seems a bit "loony." Rather than debate the issue with the client, why not use Rosi Inana Thielen's (from Germany) method to avoid stating the words out loud?

Hi Gary,

I’d like to share a way to use EFT that has really produced great results.  Here in Germany I have experienced that people often do not feel at ease with repeating words that seem weird to them or somehow strange. In addition, they totally lose it when it comes to the 9 gamut routine.

As a spiritual healer, rebirther and counselor I include EFT with my clients for different issues.  So I decided to try 'silent' rounds to make things easier and to see if that could work as well.  And it does.

And this is how I do it: I agree with the client on the issue and/or feeling and/or pain, so that we are in sync.  And then I do the basic round, including the 9 gamut routine, see how it goes with the client and then add a round or two using the choices method.

I repeat the chosen phrase silently in my mind while tapping on the client, and also do the 9 gamut routine for them, while they are relaxing in the trusting feeling that something is moving - I can tell by their breathing.  The results are just as good.

My mother, bless her, was my guinea pig (she did not know that, of course).  She is usually very open with anything I do with her, but when I first began tapping on her and had her say the phrases and the self-acceptance affirmation and then the eyes rolling and humming - that was too loony for her.

Even though she felt better afterwards she said it was just too silly to be able to be a healing tool. Anyway, I learned from that and the next time I just said I would touch the acupuncture points to stimulate a balanced energy flow.  She relaxed, closed her eyes and I did the silent tapping for about three rounds and she was pain free (lower back pain).  I thought that sharing this would be helpful for those who encounter similar situations with people.

EFT is my magic wand tool and I am really thrilled.  Thanks a million; I love your work, your DVDs and your online support.

Love and blessings from Germany
