Hi Everyone,

In this brief article by Karen Haider, she shares some ideas about using EFT for personal calming.

Hugs, Gary

By Karen Haider

I have a "barometer" in my shoulder that gives me an unpleasant burning sensation whenever my thoughts wander into negative territory, particularly the critical parent voice that says “You made a mistake, You are not good enough,” etc.  While tapping on the pain, it occurred to me to tap on the critical messages I was giving myself instead and the pain subsided immediately.

I read an article on your website by Valerie Padley, who wrote about how she uses EFT to calm students who have been sent out of the classroom to the Principal’s office and are in an extreme state of anger and frustration.  She taps for them using their own verbalized anger to help calm them down.  Everything that happens around us elicits a response and we get to choose whether to respond negatively or positively.

In my own case, EFT is helping me to learn to respond to myself in a positive loving manner, to re-parent myself and break up old patterns of behaving.  Obviously, if I can be in a relaxed and loving state with myself, I can then interact with the world in a more loving manner as well.  What Valerie is showing us is that we also have the power to choose how to use EFT to change our responses to what is happening around us.  It is literally the power to spread world peace.  When we combine EFT with a powerful intention like spreading world peace, we empower ourselves to make a real difference in our own inner world, our families, and communities.

Gary, you have started a revolution!

Important note: While EFT has produced remarkable clinical results, it must still be considered to be in the experimental stage and thus practitioners and the public must take complete responsibility for their use of it. Further, Gary Craig is not a licensed health professional and offers EFT as an ordained minister and as a personal performance coach. Please consult qualified health practitioners regarding your use of EFT.
