Progress with the symptoms of Rheumatoid Arthritis
Hi Everyone,
Alyson Raworth from Scotland successfully uses EFT for her client's Rheumatoid Arthritis. Please note how she adjusts her language at the end. Please consult physicians on all medical issues.
Hugs, Gary
Dear Gary,
I am presently working with a person who is suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and a roving pain all over her body. She has been having test after test after test and getting more anxious each time.
We tapped on:
"even though my depression makes me sick - I appreciate and love my body"
"even though this illness distresses me ........
"even though I feel I am dying....
"it's hard to be assertive........
"I am so frustrated...............
"I feel guilty at taking up this time to be ill....
"I hate myself......
"I am self absorbed..........
Then on to choices:
"I choose to be more tolerant...
"I choose to believe in myself..
"I choose to love myself..
GC COMMENT: I would also suggest aiming EFT at the SPECIFIC EVENTS in her life that may be driving the Rheumatoid Arthritis. By this I mean the fear, trauma, anger, etc. events in her life that are unresolved and may be showing up physically.
ALYSON CONTINUES: EFT worked very well and substantially reduced the pain and the client is working on it at home to good effect. In fact we were tapping mainly for depression and anger, which was her original symptom, and the side effect was that the pain reduced.
My main point is that I was using the phrase "positive energy" when asking her to breathe in and noticed that this agitated her. When I was tapping on this agitation she stated that the word "positive" made her anxious as when all the tests were being done on her - the last word she wanted to hear was that the test was "positive".
I thought that this information would be useful to your many EFT practitioners. The words we think are helpful in clearing negativity may be the worst for the client. I have reformed the wording to "breathing in pure healing energy" now, which makes them feel better!
Many thanks.
from Scottish golf widow - Alyson Raworth.
