RN applies EFT for pain due to Sickle Cell Anemia and Crohns Disease
Hi Everyone,
This brief article by Ian Roe shows yet another example of how EFT might be used effectively in a medical setting.
Hugs, Gary
I work in a local hospital as an R.N. and there are two GPs that are interested in what EFT has to offer.
I use EFT rarely in practice in the hospital because it is outside the medical model. But compassion causes me to use it sometimes when medication and other interventions are not providing adequate relief.
Two cases in point:
Sickle Cell Anemia - a young man, 19, maxed out on Morphine for pain, already receiving adequate oxygenation and still having severe joint pain in legs. EFT stopped all the residual pain. He actually said he felt numb. I mentioned that not feeling the pain may feel like numbness initially but that he could in fact feel his limbs ok and there was no numbness.
Young lady, 23 years of age with Crohns Disease. Symptoms were anxiety and burning pain in intestines. EFT elimiated the anxiety and the residual burning pain stopped completely. Patient was already maxed out on Morphine and Dimenhydrinate HCL.
Thankyou for your hard work. I know that many of these stories would be a reward and provide incentive for you to continue on in your work.
