Using surrogate EFT for easing a courtroom testimony
Hi Everyone,
Larry Begnaud gives us a simple use of surrogate EFT aimed at helping a stress prone witness in the courtroom.
Hugs, Gary
Hi Gary,
A friend, who is a psychotherapist, had to appear in court to give testimony on some of the details of a client case. My friend was extremely anxious about his testimony with regard to the possibility of the testimony negatively affecting his client's rights.
Just prior to the time my friend was to appear in the court room to give testimony, I closed my eyes and received a very clear image of my friend. My intention was to send him a prayer. However, because I had such a clear image of my friend in my mind, my intuition told me to visualize him using the EFT tapping technique while he stated (in my visualization) the short phrase ("...fear of damaging testimony" or something like that). I did not visualize the entire "sandwich" technique, but just the tapping, starting with the eyebrow point through the karate chop point, and only one cycle.
After the court appearance, he reported that he was overcome with a deep feeling of peace and confidence during the testimony and had no anxiety while answering the attorney's and judge's questions. In fact, one of the attorney's asked whether my friend had done this before because of the precise and calm delivery exhibited.
Also, my friend said that he mentally did a short prayer prior to the testimony. One can't have too much support.
Best Wishes,
Larry
