Our tinnitus results vary widely. Sometimes tinnitus appears to be quite stubborn and it takes many sessions to make progress. At other times, such as with this case by Felix Becker from Germany, it vanishes instantly. This is how Felix described the original intensity, "When he came to see me his tinnitus was very loud and severe: "like a buzz saw in my head", he described it. The noise in his head was so loud that it was hard to believe for him, that nobody except him was hearing the noise! He could hardly sleep at night and often woke up because of the noise in his head. He wasn't able to sleep for more than 3 hours straight."

Today I witnessed the quickest result with EFT in my 2 years of EFT life.
I was taught EFT at several seminars by Maya de Vries (EFTCert-Honors) as well as by studying your DVD sets and I am happier every day that both of you gave this gift to me.
I work as a sports-therapist in a rehab clinic in Germany. One of the patients, who was in the clinic for chronic back, neck and knee pain, we will call him Peter, came to see me because he heard from other patients about their results with EFT and he was wondering if EFT could help him with his tinnitus.
This was what he told me: Over 20 years ago he had his first experience with tinnitus which went away with conventional medical treatments. His cousin happens to be an otorhinolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat-specialist) and successfully treated his first tinnitus. It disappeared for about 5 years but came back during a scuba diving trip in Kenya. What he knew from his previous experience with tinnitus (and from his cousin) was that he urgently had to get infusions within the next 12 hours; otherwise the tinnitus would be very difficult, if not impossible to cure.
However, he decided not to go to a hospital for infusions, because of the hygienic conditions in Kenyan hospitals. He said he was really afraid of being infected with HIV through unsterile needles.
Back in Germany his cousin tried the whole spectrum of medical treatments including compression chamber, medications etc. He was even treated by "the German tinnitus pope". His quest for healing had taken 15 years of his life.
When he came to see me his tinnitus was very loud and severe: "like a buzz saw in my head", he described it. I explained to him a bit about EFT, the technique itself and the phenomenon of psychological reversal. I also told him that we could try different approaches, e.g. tapping for symptoms or finding emotional triggers or detecting core issues. I thought he might possibly be in a PR state, since he made a choice 15 years ago in Kenya against the HIV risk (infusions), but for the tinnitus. My guess was that there was subconscious programming to "save his life", i.e. have the tinnitus or else die. And that this programming was still active and standing in the way of healing the tinnitus. We decided to first tap for the symptoms and I began with:

As I began repeating this phrase for the third time he stopped. So I told him that we'd have to do it one more time and started off again. But he didn't tap at all; he was kind of "frozen" and was staring at me disbelievingly. After some long seconds he "unfroze" and said: "This is impossible!!!" The tinnitus had fallen to zero only by tapping the side of the hand and performing two thirds of the Setup (which all in all took maybe 10 seconds)!
After a few seconds he said the noise increased again to about a one (very far away) but we managed to bring it down to 0.2. He wasn't even sure whether the 0.2 was real or some kind of imagined tinnitus relic after 15 years of the buzz saw noise in his head.
He also told me that his voice now sounded very strange for him. He hadn't heard this voice (without the saw) for 15 years. We tapped for some "hopefully it won't come back fears" and then he went off for a hopefully tinnitus free and good night's sleep weekend.
I don't really know what caused this 10 second wonder, maybe my "tinnitus or aids suspicion" could be an explanation. It was my intent to bring up the life/death conflict during tapping but we never had to get into that. This experience to me is evidence for the power of psychological reversals. Maybe this two thirds of the setup were enough to collapse his PR and his system knew that the tinnitus wasn't necessary to protect him from aids anymore and decided to stop it!?
