Pulse rate improvement: From 130 to 90 in 1 minute
Hi Everyone,
One of the primary ways new practitioners learn about EFT is to see it displayed somewhere. Perhaps they attend a workshop...or...watch a colleague demonstrate it...or...are introduced to it by a client. At other times it is simply used in a real life situation...such as a hospital.
One such display of benefits is described in the article below by Dr. Tam Llewellyn-Edwards from the UK. Here, in a hospital setting (and after other techniques had failed), EFT was able to bring a client's pulse rate down from 130 to 90 within 1 minute.
As you know, we do this type of thing routinely. Perhaps, if you print out this article and give it to physicians and other hospital personnel, we can hasten the day when others use it routinely as well.
Hugs, Gary
Hi Gary
A prospective client contacted me by telephone and told me how EFT had helped her aged mother. The mother had been taken into hospital following a fall that dislocated her hip. The mother underwent three separate operations under anaesthetic to relocate the joint but each time it popped out again. After the third anaesthetic the poor lady suffered a heart attack, but was successfully saved by the hospital staff who then temporarily abandoned further attempts to relocate the joint.
The mother remained in the hospital with her hip still dislocated, in an intensive care bed and received massive doses of pain killers. Her son and her daughter (who was my informant) were at her bedside. The woman was stable, but the heart monitor showed her pulse rate to be a high, but steady, 130 beats per minute.
The daughter was not an EFTer, but she had been shown the method by another non-therapist who in turn had learnt it from his therapist when his pain related problems had been treated. The daughter had successfully used it on herself to treat minor problems.
The daughter decided to try the EFT method on her mother as nothing else was being done and she was ready to try anything.
After a single round of tapping (without using a 'Set Up' or 'Reminder Phrase') the son & daughter were amazed to see their mother's heart rate drop from a worrying 130 to a more reasonable 90. This drop was indicated by the intensive care monitor and took place within the first minute after the round of tapping.
The mother immediately perked up and said she felt much better. She then fell asleep and slept for a full twelve hours before waking much refreshed.
The story has a happy ending as the hip was later relocated and after a period of recuperation the mother has now had a successful hip replacement.
Here we have a case where 'trying it on everything' worked beautifully, even in the hands of an unpractised EFTer, and where the effect of a round of EFT was monitored by a standard piece of conventional medical equipment.
