11 year old successfully taps for her own fear of going to camp

Message from Kylie:

My 11-year-old daughter Lauren was going on a children’s camp for 10 days. She has been away from home previously but never for this length of time, and she only knew a few of the other children.

I was working the three evenings prior to her leaving on camp, and each day before I went to work, she would tell me that she was very scared about going to camp and she was sure that she wouldn’t be able to get to sleep at night. She was teary each night, and I would tell her … do some tapping, it will help.

She has been quite reluctant to tap in the past so I really didn’t expect her to do it. However on the day before she went to camp, she said to me, “Guess what? I’m not scared to go to camp any more. I’ve been tapping every night and it really did work!”

She happily went off to camp, barely even giving me the time to say goodbye! On her return, she told me that she tapped each night while she was at camp too, and she had a wonderful time.
