Surrogate EFT for a naughty boy
Hi Everyone,
Jacqui Davis from the UK gives us a superb example of what is possible when we use EFT in behalf of others (surrogate tapping). In this case the belligerent behavior of a young boy made a dramatic shift. For those interested in the permission issue regarding surrogate EFT see this article.
Hugs, Gary
My neighbour’s grandson, Ben, had changed from being a lovely seven year old, an indigo child, into a little horror. He had lived with his Mum on his own for four years until she found a new partner, and then suddenly he had a baby brother as well.
When his Mum came home with the new baby he was thrilled to bits for a while, but then his attitude changed, he told his Mum he hated her, and wanted her to go back into hospital and put the baby back in her tummy, he packed his bag – he was leaving home. He was totally obnoxious.
I offered EFT and I pretended to Ben that I needed five children to be guinea pigs for me to practise my new therapy, and would he be one of them. He agreed but later questioned his Mum about what I was going to do to him, and he seemed a little concerned. So I suggested that I could do surrogate tapping if they would prefer.
So I took Ben’s photograph and that evening sat looking at it and pretended to be him.
I just tapped on things like:
Even though I’m jealous because I am not the centre of attention any more, I am a good kid really.
I’m fed up of everyone paying attention to my baby brother but I love myself and I know everyone loves me.
I’m used to being on my own with Mum and I want her to myself again.
I am being horrible to Mum, I do love her really, and I know she loves me, she has always looked after me and been good to me, and I am going to be a good boy for her because she is very tired at the moment and she needs me to help her, not be horrible.
And I do love my baby brother, and I am so pleased I have a new Dad, we are a family again, and I am happy about that. So I am going to be good and help with the baby.
Well, the difference in his behaviour the next day was amazing, his Mum was thrilled to bits, and the whole family was. He was back to being that lovely indigo child again, a special boy.
The wonderful things we can do with EFT, it continues to astound me.
