Hi Everyone,
Children seem to injure themselves with great frequency but, as Kim Stevens shows us, we can often fix these ailments quickly and easily with EFT. Physicians may find this idea useful as well.
Hugs, Gary
I am always amazed at how well EFT works in a First Aid situation for my identical twin daughters. I have been using EFT every time they injure themselves, since they were 5 1/2 months old. They are now three. All I do is tap the short cut points from top of the head down to under the arm, and repeat until they are feeling better. They have now started to tap on themselves and each other, so I know they feel the tapping works.
I have seen bleeding from a head wound that required two staples stop within a minute with only a teaspoon of blood lost. In addition, I saw a hole right through a bottom lip cease bleeding in about 90 seconds and heal completely in 4 days! I have also had one daughter start to pass out (eyes rolling back in her head) from pain, and then abruptly come out of it as I tapped.
My twins love to say "go platelets go" when we tap for bleeding. Now that they talk we often say things like that as we tap. For example, we say, "Go white cells go!" for infections. I will also use phrases like, "you had an accident", "it's not your fault", "your body is amazing, it will heal".
The funny thing is that I almost never remember to tap for myself when I am injured until recently. I poured just boiled water for tea all over the back of my right hand. Within 10 seconds I had it in cold water and I was tapping (the same points I use for my daughters) about the accident and the pain. When that didn't seem to work, I started tapping on the discouraged feelings I have been having recently as life is forcing me to go to back to work, and I am not sure I am ready. I returned again to the pain and burning in my hand and within an hour it didn't hurt anymore. I had a blistered area of 1 square inch the next day, but there was absolutely no pain, and the hand healed very well.
It should be noted that although I almost never use a set-up phrase for my daughters for First Aid, I usually use a basic one when tapping for myself.
Thank you EFT!
Kim Stevens
