EFT Certification Seals
EFT Certified Practitioners in good standing may use the seals provided below on business cards, letterhead, website pages, email signatures and other marketing material PROVIDED THAT:
- It is always next to your name, designation and the term Certified EFT Practitioner.
For example:
Anna Banana, LCSW, EFTCert-1
Certified EFT Practitioner
Other criteria are as follows:
- You may only use the seal that represents the level of Certification you have achieved.
- These seals not be used as the primary art on any website, advertisement or promotional document
- They may not be altered in any way
- They may not be used to imply certification as an instructor
Workshops: Please know that the biggest challenge with using the term "Certified" is that the public may assume you are Certified to teach EFT. While you may be a quality EFT teacher or trainer, we do not yet offer a Certification for this purpose.
You are encouraged to give EFT workshops according to our Open Hand Policy, but the public should not be misled into thinking that you are an officially Certified EFT Trainer. Your credentials are only valid for practicing EFT.
Please be aware that people usually do not read things carefully, and when they see a colorful seal that says you are "Certified" in EFT, they are even more likely to assume you are "certified" to do whatever it is they want you to be "certified" for.
Therefore, when using this seal, it is your responsibility to be sure the public does not assume you are Certified to teach EFT. This is especially true when promoting your own workshops.
As a basic rule, when using this seal to promote a workshop, do not use it at the top of the flyer or web page. Instead, use it at the bottom with your contact information. If you offer a Certificate of Attendance, be sure your attendees realize that you are not giving them a credential, and that your Certificate covers only your practice, not your instruction. Including that in writing on the actual Certificate would be a good way to handle it.
We can't anticipate every possible marketing scenario, so we will just caution you to be very conservative when using the term "certified" or adding your seal to anything connected to a workshop. We reserve the right to request corrections to anything we see that is sending the wrong message, and we are happy to review any ideas you have for approval. Email Us.
