40 Years of Terror gone after 60 minutes with EFT--smoking addiction gone too.

What started out to be an EFT session to quit smoking turned into an impressive collapse of a life gripping fear. This is a straightforward case with important results. It also shows how simple EFT can often be.

Dear Gary,
Three years ago I saw Marie who wished to stop her 50 a day cigarette habit. The first session went fine and I telephoned her the next day to ask how she was and she said she was pleased that she had "only smoked a few cigarettes".
I replied that it was a good improvement but not quite good enough, we really wanted no cigarettes so I invited her back for a second time.
As she settled in I asked her what could be stopping her letting go of these last five cigarettes, she then proceeded to tell me something she omitted on our first meeting.
Forty years ago she lived next door to a man who was physically and mentally abusive. When she put her house up for sale, he threatened to kill her .... some day.
Consequently she had spent forty years of living in fear of her life and did not dare go anywhere alone just in case she met her old neighbour. She had been on tablets, seen psychiatrists and counsellors, attempted suicide several times and had spent many periods in hospital as a result and nothing but nothing had helped, until EFT that is
One hour later with only four separate "trees" to fell, she said that she felt as though the weight had literally been lifted off her shoulders. Her head, neck and back felt so much lighter. Consequently she went home and without thinking about it took her grandchild for a walk in the park without a second adult being with her as a chaperone, the first time ever she had been able to do this in those forty years.
Although the fear had been with her for such a long time and had such a profound effect on her the EFT needed was uncomplicated and very straight forwards.
We tapped on even though:-
David tried to push a knife into my stomach .........intensity was 10 to 8 to 6 to 0
I was terrified when he punched me in the face ....... 6 straight to 0
I was unable to speak to David about the violence 7 straight to 0
I'm frightened I will bump into him 10 to 8 to 5 to 0
and that was it!!!
Now three years on Marie can still go anywhere alone, and has never looked back and goes out everyday without fear of meeting her old neighbour.
She wrote to thank me saying that "In just one hour I managed to put forty years behind me, EFT helped me overcome so much that medical treatment failed to do , it really is a miracle."
