Severe sore throat vanishes after persistent use of EFT

Hi Everyone,

Here's a persuasive reminder to persist if an issue isn't resolved after a few minutes of EFT. Many thanks to Vinika Chopra (from India) for submitting it.

Yet again EFT to the rescue.  After the 'magic' healing of the tummy ache, (see article) my son had full faith in EFT.  That has only increased after the following experience.

A few weeks back, my son, having gorged on all kinds of fizzy drinks and junk food had a very severe throat pain at night.  So much so, that on his own, he was doing steaming and crying that he could not swallow without pain.  He asked me to do tapping for him.

We sat down and I asked him what was the level of the pain on a scale of 10, if 10 is the maximum pain.  He said 12 and I said 'uh oh' to myself, but we began and I said we will make sure the pain comes to zero.  Rubbing the sore spot on his upper chest I said, and he repeated after me, Even though I have this extreme pain in my throat I am an awesome kid.

I did not count how many rounds of EFT we did but it happened slowly but surely.  It took us 40 to 45 minutes to get the pain to zero.  As the intensity level from 12 started coming down, we kept tapping using, Even though I am crying … Even though I have a sore throat...  Even though I feel bad about eating junk food…  Even though I have throat ache…  Even though I have a throat pain...  This remaining pain...  This pain on swallowing…

Then suddenly, during a round of tapping my son said, “Mom it’s gone, the pain is gone, let's sleep".  He had long ago stopped crying and he took me by surprise.  So I asked if he was sure the pain is gone.  And then I completed the round with tapping for, Even though I am afraid the pain will come back I am an awesome kid. 

Well sure enough he was 100 percent fine and had a peaceful night's sleep with no pain, no cough, and no crying at all.
