Successful surrogate EFT for an Ironman Triathlete
Hi Everyone,
Kassandra Murray is a personal performance coach who uses EFT surrogately to help an Ironman Triathlete in Venezuela with his training procrastination. Note his list of barriers. She also helps him with a recent injury while chatting over MSN.
Hugs, Gary
This amazing experience is about a friend of mine who is an Ironman competitor (Triathlon) in Venezuela and was having some issues with his training. I surrogately tapped for him using his photograph and a holographic image of the two of us together. This process spanned three days and focused on the following list of his barriers: I tapped on the highlighted parts (bold text).
1- Many times I don't find the energy or the willingness to train as I know I should. I tend to stay home and procrastinate often, instead of going out to train right away. I find many reasons to stay resting, but when I go out and ride I really love it. Even if it's a poor performance session. I need to organize my schedule more, and be more strict with it.
2- I've realized lately that I forced myself to be a good triathlete just because I'm used to doing things as well as I can, in order to please my parents. I have done that ever since I can remember.
3- I love triathlons and I wouldn't want to live any other way, but I tend to lose motivation easily and instead of training the 25-30 hours a week I should, I've been training 15-20 and it's making me anxious.
4- I tend to have a short stride, which I'm working on improving.
5- I have a left shoulder and a right knee condition, which are stable now, but if I don't do weights I can get injured again.
6- In the mornings I don't have as much energy as I'd like
Frustration and rage can get into my emotion when I spend more than 36 hours without training.
After doing rounds of EFT on the above barriers, he noticed he felt calm about his training and had no more anxiety. He had more energy for training he was not procrastinating. Then later, while we were chatting on MSN he told me he had gone for a run and his sacral spine was very sore and felt out of place and he could not run.
I asked him to relax in his chair while he was with me on MSN and get some water. He took some deep abdominal breaths and I began to do EFT for his spine. I tapped on the trauma of the injury, the frustration and rage in the body and the memory of protection as well as causing the injury and further procrastination issues. He went from a rating of 3-4 out of 10 to 0.
I would get him to move around in between cycles of tapping. He was amazed! He felt great and felt a little tired as well. EFT works so amazing even while on MSN. You can work with anyone all over the GLOBE!
My thanks to David Wilson who introduced me to EFT and tutored me so well!
Blessings to you all!
