Surgery and back to normal in 3 days
Baerbel Froehlin had recent surgery and provides her methods for dramatically speeding up the healing process. This rapid healing feature of EFT is not limited to surgery, by the way. It is often useful for injuries and for colds, sore throats, etc.
Hi Gary!
EFT so far has definitely proven to me to be an enormously efficient addition in physical healing therapy. It is speeding up other healing modalities and I wouldn't be without it any more. The benefits are noticeable right away.
Here is another proof of the powerful effects of using EFT in combination with hypnotic suggestions for physical healing:
I had ObGyn surgery last Friday and stayed in the hospital until Saturday night. I was given morphine at 7 am Friday right before surgery; it was supposed to last until 7 pm the same day, taking care of the pain after surgery.
Before the surgery my doctor told me that she expected:
1. I'd be on pain medication for at least one week;
2. I would not be able to move around a lot for at least a week or so;
3. I would only be able to eat fluids for a day after surgery;
4. I would have some bleeding that she considered to be "normal".
Funny, that you just had my article "Breast Lump Disappears" in the newsletter when I was in the hospital. In that article I had described how I use an audio tape to pre-condition myself for healing and tapping later on while driving.
This time I pre-conditioned myself with a pre-surgery hypnosis tape. In this tape I gave suggestions for very limited bleeding and speedy recovery without any complications. On top of that I had the tape with the healing affirmations still running while driving and tapped on it daily.
First of all, I had no anxiety regarding surgery. Tapping constantly while driving kept me in a positive mood. After I came to after surgery I just grabbed for my tape with the healing songs, barely able to hold onto it because I was so affected by the morphine. I remember tapping on my sternum until it hurt, then I changed to the collarbone and actually tapped there for as long as I was in the hospital. Those two points were the only ones accessible for me while I had to stay almost motionless for one day and one night. I could feel the gentle effects and positive mood changes of the tapping, even though it was hard to do it physically.
The most profound results were:
1. I had my first solid food lunch 3 hours after surgery and regular food ever since;
2. Today - Monday after surgery - I went out for a celebration lunch and walked there myself. Since Sunday I have been sitting at my computer, doing e-mails and phone calls as if I never left.
3. I had no pain medication whatsoever since surgery; I'm pain free;
4. No bleeding.
A great new way to make surgery less scary and to shorten recovery time.
Love to all!
