Fred P. Gallo, PhD
Creator of NAEM, HELP, EDxTM

NAEM or MET is a global treatment algorithm, similar to EFT but with fewer treatment points, that can be used to treat a wide range of psychological problems, and even some physical problems. This is often the first line of treatment, since it is so easily applied. When NAEM/MET is not effective, correcting for psychological reversal, neurologic disorganization, energy toxins, or misalignment of pacing or targeting of problem aspects will often yield desired therapeutic results. When NAEM/MET does not work, precision diagnosis is needed. See EDxTM.
HELP combines a number of treatment components to globally address the therapeutic issue or psychological problem. It incorporates some procedures from Educational Kinesiology/Brain Gym with NAEM/MET, diaphragmatic breathing, an ancient yoga exercise of imaging healing light entering the body, and elements of HeartMath. HELP corrects for psychological reversals, neurologic disorganization, and focused the patient’s intention to achieve the desired outcome. HELP can be conducted within the therapeutic session and can also be assigned to clients for self-treatment between sessions. When it is not sufficiently effective, the therapist considers more precisely focused treatment with NAEM/MET or EDxTM.
EDxTM is a bioenergy causal diagnostic system with roots in meridian therapy; Applied, Clinical and Behavioral Kinesiology; Thought Field Therapy; Neurolinguistic Programming; and cognitive therapy. EDxTM makes it possible to determine the precise energetic structure of any psychoenergetic problem and to apply efficient treatments based on this energetic diagnosis.
EDxTM includes cognitive components to increase the likelihood that the therapeutic results will hold. For example, the energy system can be balanced by stimulating meridian points in concert with specific verbalizations, and an Outcome Projection Procedure (OPP) is employed at the end of treatment protocols to increase the probability that treatment effects will maintain. OPP is a process for constructing an attractor or thought field within the context where the problem previously existed. Further EDxTM includes a protocol for diagnosing and alleviating negative core beliefs.
EDxTM includes protocols for diagnosing and correcting psychological reversals, criteria-related reversals and neurologic disorganization, decreasing sensitivity to energy toxins, and removing peak performance obstacles. Emphasis is placed on precision manual muscle testing throughout. Training emphasizes assisting the examiner in developing expertise in conducting accurate manual muscle testing.
