Hi Everyone,

Those of you familiar with the Hawaiian healing method of Ho'oponopono may wish to combine it with EFT. Karen Hanys' gives her thoughts on how you might achieve this blend.

Hugs, Gary

Ho'oponopono helps to remove mental obstacles that block our paths. It helps us to attain health, peace and happiness. It helps us clear our minds of subconscious blocks so that our vibrational level can rise to admit abundance to enter our lives.

Ho'oponopono is an unusual healing method from Hawaii. Joe Vitale says in his book, Zero Limits, that by using this method, you learn to use a new lens to dissolve all other lenses and once you succeed, you will be at a place called zero limits. Tor Norretrander says "The universe began when nothing saw itself in the mirror."

First there is the prayer Morrnah said to heal thousands of people:

"Divine creator, father, mother, son as one. If I, my family, relatives, and ancestors have offended you, your family, relatives, and ancestors in thoughts, words, deeds, and actions from the beginning of our creation to the present, we ask your forgiveness. Let this cleanse, purify, release, cut all the negative memories, blocks, energies and vibrations and transmute these unwanted energies to pure light... And it is done."

I sometimes tap while saying this prayer and I have found, also, that just the intent of the prayer brings a sense of peace.

Next Dr. Hew Lin who teaches workshops on this Hawaiian method likes to first say: "I'm sorry" and Please forgive me." You say this to acknowledge that something has gotten into your body's mind system. You don't even know how it got there. Then you say, "Thank you" and "I love you." When you say this you are expressing gratitude. The "I love you" makes the energy flow.

I read this book, Zero Limits, before I was introduced to EFT. I practiced saying, "I am responsible for... Please forgive me. I am sorry. I love you. Thank you." I really used this when judgmental thoughts came into my mind. I saw many changes occurring to other people around me, and I became hyper conscious of my own thoughts. It also kept me grounded in the present moment.

Then when I was introduced to EFT, I wondered to what heights I could soar using those Ho'oponopono words coupled with the tapping. Most of the time I am moved to tears while coupling the two.

Tapping:
EB: I am responsible for...
SE: Please forgive me
UE: I am sorry
UN: I love you
CH: Thank you
CB: Please forgive me
UA: I love you
TH: Thank you

I may tap 4-5 rounds using this technique. If another issue comes up, I tap on that. I usually know when I am "cooked," when I feel total calm and peaceful, and I have taken a deep breath.

Although different, these two methods possess similarities. We say "Even though I am depressed, etc, I totally love, forgive, and completely accept myself. We name the emotion, event, pain, phobia, etc and then we tap.

We want to rise above the controlling issue. We want to feel better. We want to be rid of the emotion. We use EFT. I am suggesting you also try Ho'oponopono along with EFT. I have used this combined method with clients after tapping on the issue first. It acts as a peacemaker. It fills one with love; universal love as well as self-love which is so often the culprit.

Gary, I wanted to share with your readers, this awesome tool. As you say, Try it on Everything. What a magnifier EFT is! What a gift! It can be coupled and added to any modality, it seems to me.

Dr. Hew Len says we must "constantly clean, clean, clean. You have to clean on anything and everything, as you have no idea what is a memory and what is inspiration." Gary, you say much the same thing as well. "Get rid of those diseased trees in the forest, knock down those legs holding up the table."

Clear, clear, clear, clean, clean, clean We heal others by healing ourselves of those error messages (those zzzzzzztttttts) in our subconscious.

What if we all become clear and clean and full of love? What would that look like? What if we pretended we were clear, clean and love filled? If it were a color what color would it be? If you could feel clear, clean and full of love, where would you feel it in your body? What if you swelled up with all that clear, clean energy and love and it just burst forth into the atmosphere? And, with that vision of multicolored fireworks, I close.

Thank you.
