Hugs, Gary

Dear Gary,

Rose is a friend who has been treated by me with EFT for allergies and continues to self apply it when triggering issues arise.  Recently she was at the gym and a married man kept inviting her out.  She felt outraged at his advances and started avoiding him by not going to the gym or only going when she knew he wouldn't be there.

Rose clearly recognized Bob's behavior was triggering uncomfortable and unwanted reactions so she tapped for this, but made little progress.  She called me and gave me the above information.

"How does he make you feel?", I asked.

She said she was angry and I asked what was causing the anger.  She said, "I feel repulsed."

We tapped over the phone for Even though Bob (not his real name) makes me feel repulsed, and as we were tapping I asked her to follow that feeling back to the time she first felt this way.  She recalled a time when she was 11 and an uncle who she felt very uncomfortable around and who was later in life arrested for pedophilia, grabbed her and forced her to sit on his lap.  She struggled to get up, but he held her fast all the time leering at her.

She told me he did not molest her, but the fact that he held her down against her will and made her feel slimy was what bothered her.  We tapped for

Even though I couldn't get away…

Even though I felt repulsed…

Even though he made me feel slimy…

Even though he had this leering grin.

Even before we were done tapping, Rose was laughing.  She tells me that she can go back to the gym now and feel comfortable rejecting Bob's advances firmly without strong feelings or repulsion or anger.

Gary, Yesterday I taught an EFT workshop at our community college and over 60 women attended as part of a Woman's Program.  It was extremely well received in a county where very few people know of energy medicine.

Ann
