Surrogate EFT to help restless kids - or is it a coincidence?

Hi Everyone,

Does calming restless children with surrogate EFT really work? Apparently so, as we have had numerous supportive reports on this topic. Victoria Deasy gives us another example and then says, "I tried this at least 4 more times, all within a month or two. This was during the Christmas season so there may have been more frazzled nerves than usual, but in each case, the child settled down completely. Just coincidence?"

Hugs, Gary

Hi Gary,

I have been using EFT for about 2 years for myself, family and friends, and for a few students. Anyway, I have used EFT on several occasions at restaurants for children who were very out of sorts. The first time I tried it, I thought it was coincidence but since then, I have done this numerous times, all with similar results.

Usually, a family comes into a restaurant where I am dining with family or friends. One of these incidents involved a family with two young girls. The younger of the girls, who was just under 2, was whining and complaining and her parents were trying to placate her, while her older sister, age 4 or so, was already coloring at the table. I could see that the parents were wondering whether to take the younger girl out because they knew that she was disturbing a lot of people.

I have been in that situation before, when my son was young, so I really wanted to help. I silently tapped the standard EFT points including the fingers and back to the KC point. After just one round, the child had totally settled down, was in her highchair, was totally quiet, and was trying to use the crayons like her sister. Thanks to EFT, everyone had a very pleasant dinner.

I tried this at least 4 more times, all within a month or two. This was during the Christmas season so there may have been more frazzled nerves than usual, but in each case, the child settled down completely. Just coincidence?

I am so glad I have EFT to help kids.

Thanks, Gary,

Victoria Deasy
