Dear Gary,

Here is one of my sessions - this happens to have taken place with my daughter. I hope all enjoy as I enjoyed discovering different aspects as the session progressed....

I was working on my 5 yr old one evening. She had been out of sorts for a couple of days and I needed to get to the source so that she would settle down and behave well again. During our tapping session I tapped her for her grandfather, father, me, sisters and school.

Each person plays a significant roll in her life, including school. All aspects weakened her in one way or another (I was able to tell by using Kinesiology). Some of us with certain aspects were affecting her more than others. When I got to what I believed was the end of our session, she was still showing weak to her elder sister (so I thought).

When I began to "search or uncover" aspects relating to her sister she was testing strong. I was beginning to get a bit confused when she spoke up and reminded me that there was a little girl in her class that had the same name as her sister. The puzzle pieces came together and when all was said and done we were able to uncover her weakness with this little girl who had the same name as her sister.

We then tapped for the threat this little girl had given to her at school. That tapping session has removed the fear that was building in my daughter and now she and the little girl have become friends. I find that tapping for children can be quite beneficial. Many of their decisions and perceptions of the world are based on how they feel. Adults function in the same basic way, however they tend to add logic to their decisions - because it makes mores sense - of course - :)....

I encourage all people using the Emotional Freedom Technique to help others and especially those in your family who are so near and dear to your hearts. Don't forget yourself in your efforts...keep on tapping...
